I dont want to stir the pot (ok maybe a little) but I will give 5 to 1 odds on anyone hatch fights!! The guy is a beast with a background in boxing.

I like the part about them being best in world !

All I know is you could put together two pinoy teams that could win on any given day...For being such a small place as for as population...it's still a amazement the top players they put out just from numbers per population alone...IMO if you put the best pinoy team in the mix then it would be a upset for either the U S or the Brits to win...not that they couldn't but They would both be the dog on paper.

I took Darren's comments as I do others, such as boxers, MMA fighters that have competitions coming up. Just a little Shi!! talking and nothing else. Its good for the gate.:smile:

Has Appleton communicated a threat to Dennis?

It has to be a scary thing knowing that the US Team has boosted it's potency with the addition of Dennis Hatch. Already, the Europeans are losing and are wolfing and making threatening remarks to the US Team. If you can't talk with your sticks, I guess that is all you have. These kind of statements don't help the sport at all, in fact, it takes away from the atmoshere and degrades the sport. Appleton wins one big tournament and now he is an authority.....not hardly! Grow up Appleton and take your medicine. If any of the US Team members have a physical confrontation Mr. Appleton is the root cause.
 
I think a bit of friendly agro between the two teams is good for the competition

The Mosconi cup has really developed into a top notch competition. It really helps that both sides are capable of winning. There was a long stretch where the US was just too dominant for it to be interesting.

I would have liked to have seen Tony Drago in the European team and Earl back in the US team , but oh well, still two top notch lineups
 
He is a big guy and used to be a boxer but I used to be a boxer as well so I don’t fear him, I’m just worried for him if it’s not going his way with the crowd on his back.
