He doesn't even have to answer and if he says no I won't say a word!! I just want to play here there anywhere and it doesn't have to be for 20 30 or 50 thousand it can be for 5! this has nothing to do with the Cup he performed great and so did the rest of the team so me taking it on the chin has nothing to do with it and your right I dogged it wasn't the first time won't be the last!!
 
If TAR starts a "road trip fund" for the match, I'd be willing to donate a small amount to it. I'll also purchase the stream even if I couldn't watch it (I work shift work).

I love these matches and appreciate the TAR crew for their hard work.

theres definatley a big money game in england,rileys,barnsley with live stream on a diamond table but theres no point into talkin about it because you wouldnt travel over and play,darren would definatley play.like a previous poster put,to cover expenses take it out of the pot,would be a totally different game than the one in vegas,race to 100 over 3 days,99% certain darren would play and am sure if you said you would play,there would be an excuse nearer the time like dippy came out with,fair play if you are serious about playin darren in england but am sure your not

Seen as Daz is moving out to the States anyway there will be plenty of time for Daz and Dennis to go head to head......

I could imagine this going down the route of the Alex P and SVB following each other all over for the cheese.

End of the day, Daz, Dennis and Karl are all world class players, wherever they play it will be a great match.

Barnsley UK is a great club and the Diamond is class, but surely playing pool in a venue in Vegas just has that bit more about it? Maybe to go totally neutral get an event set up in Asia? a double header week of pool with another match running at the same time.... maybe Yang vs Busta (my favourite ever WPC semi final matchup)

Why does anyone feel the need to bash Dennis? He is simply offering a game? That being said and Justin nailed it on the head Karl does not have the fire power or the seasoning of Dennis, and don't get me wrong Karl is one heck of a player, but Dennis is a monster. In fact I still think he's the favorite to beat Darren as well. And believe me I'm not taking anything away from Darren as he plays great! Come on guys let's show all these players the respect they deserve.
 
Come on man...Calgary can't spell pool hall. To date I have seen nothing even resembling good equipment. I'm sure the TAR guys are going to be able to travel to and ship their stuff to Europe and back AND recoup their expenses. No offense guys but this is not Color of Money II for $200K. It just can't economically work. It would have to be in parallel with an event that they are already at.

I agree. All of these matches should be played in Calgary Alberta Canada.

I would say Dennis Hatch playing Karl Boyes would win the 9-ball race to 150 by many games.....

and playing 10-ball race to 100 by many games!

Yes let's look at SVB. He beat Mika on his practice table in his home room. Mika plays pretty sporty. :rolleyes: Home turf not that big of an advantage it can work against you too.

Unless it was for $50K at least the travel and hassle alone wouldnt be worth the trip. If the two guys are going to be in one place at one time for a major tournament it makes sense to play then whether its in the US or England.

Since England does not host very many major events and even fewer that Dennis will play in anyway it makes more sense to try and set up a match that both guys will actually be at.

But then I just look at how to actually get things to happen instead of talk about whats wrong with them. If Karl is waiting for someone to come to England to play him he will be waiting a long time unless they are going to bet high as a giraffes ass.

I am guessing around 1.2 Million bet used a medium sized Giraffe.. and 1" equals 10,000 USD....
