I respect your opinion, and you are certainly entitled to express it as often as you like, as are the other members of this forum on this thread. But you might be singing a different tune, though, if you were on the receiving end of a poster's wrath and stalking if they were to target you for no damn reason other than to cause hurt and/or anger by creating threads as well as posting mean-spirited words to their target on a frequent basis.

To get the thread back on target, OMGWTF may be an old-school kind of player who believed that her opponent practiced the same etiquette as she does. It was definitely a lapse in judgment on her part.

Even when players do post, sometimes they have to be careful. I am reminded of the time that Liljon and Lilrobbie went to Boston, and the post monies were placed under the pool table, which vanished while the match was in progress. :o

Check the punctuation, and have someone you trust to read the manuscript and check your editing. My band did some records back in the 80's, and if we had recorded the songs, and went back a month later and listened again, we would still be changing them around.

As for the Stu Ungar comparison, that could very well be the best person who ever lived to compare Keith to.

And one more thing. The hurt people hurt people,,,,,,, you're a smart woman. There are a lot of bitter people out there. Some, who are just not happy with what they have done with their lives, want to cause others problems. You have to just ignore trouble makers, and drama nuts, and go on with a civilized conversation with the normal people.

geeze i know asia from time spent in NJ.
Asia almost caused my wife to walk out on me once. she used to frequent my regular room and 1x during a backroom poker game she asked to borrow my cell. she proceeded to the ladies room where she took a dozen nudie shots of herself to send to her boyfriend. she deleted them but guess who found em the next day in the deleted or sent folder.....
i was like a deer caught in headlights. i had no freakin idea, but there was my wife screaming "why the Eff do you have pictures of Asias's Tits on your cell phone???" as it wizzed by head at 90 mph.

SHE IS DAMAGED GOODS

Mel so sorry you had any contact with her at all.

I don't seek her out. The only reason I come across her twaddle is when I pick up Cue Times, a Colorado pool newspaper that carries her column. It may be narcissistic navel gazing, but it is well written sardonic navel gazing and it's pretty funny stuff. I doubt Tevis, or McCumber, or Byrne could pull off what she does. Equally so, it's not about composition class writing or even writing for a column.

That someone doesn't like what she does is fine, but it doesn't change the fact that it is a well written and entertaining blog.

Must agree with you Lou. I may not like the persona but she is definitely a talented writer. Her talent lies not only in her ability to take her thought process and make it sing in words, but fresh style of composition and her word choice. (this from a former professional writer)

Still that doesn't mean people can't express their opinions. The same people who gripe about people being a little rough on this forum are the same people who attack someone for offering what forums were built for - opinions. It's wonderful to express opinions but only if we like them or approve of how you state them. JAM and Joey A should start professional pool player quilting bee(sp). Maybe they would be happier.

Your opinion would be worth more if you had the slightest idea of what you were talking about. You know nothing about the JB Cases situation. You should start a subforum called JAM and her same thinking friends ONLY; where we like to dispense our amatuer sociology -saying the same thing over and over - that we learned in community college.

Jersey Jer, it's 2011 you gotta know all the cell phone rules. Nowadays you got facebook, twitter, and email apps to fade along with calls and texts. It's rules to this shit, I wrote me a manual.

BTW Did you at least see the pics, she looks sturdy.
