Giving a negative opinion about someone's writing is one thing, calling OMGWTF out as a "poseur" is another matter entirely. Are you saying that the anecdotal contents of her blog are a fabrication, or do you believe that OMGWTF considers her blog exemplary writing from a journalistic or technical perspective? If it is the latter, the blog is fluff, and she would be the first to say so. OMGWTF does hold an English degree from UCLA and knows the technical differences between good and bad writing. Somehow, I suspect that she does not write this blog with the intent to win the Pulitzer, but that does not mean that its contents are fiction. If you believe that her stories are lies then that is a serious accusation given that OMGWTF has made no claim that the stories in her blog are made up.

So which is it?

I have learned that when you bet on threads you gotta fade 3 things.

1) The person you bet with PMing everyone to say don't post there, that's the queering of the action.

2) If you do make a bet out in the open, whether you are liked or not will skew the results, ravishing the railbirds.

3) The biggest problem is......when your thread gets moved to NPR! This is the knock!

If I did bet I would take the under and then insult the hell out of everyone posting, fear is better than love.

OMGWTF! I went all the way back to page 9 and I didn't see a single boob.. ok, let me rephrase.. I didn't see a single breast! :confused:

And no.. I don't want to see Mlalum's, Neil's, JoeyA's, Mikey's, (especially) Oldzilla's(the name says enough), Tim's or Paul's breast(s)!

I'm just really disappointed that this has not degenerated further.. :(

This ain't my first rodeo.. I used a Commodore and saw 'donkey show' pictures on a computer back in 1990(when they were still something special), so I've been around long enough to know that hot female porn stars promote their own web sites! No tag line = old guy boob. :(

When the first reports about this incident came out on the TAR stream, Justin predicted that there would be a 40 page thread on AZ by the next day. And when the forum was down the whole next day, I thought that he had massively underestimated it, and the thread had generated so much traffic that it had actually crashed the AZ servers. Of course, that fear was obviously unfounded.

So where are the 40 pages? 3 days since the stiffing, and we are only at 18 pages. And we've got the elements to make this another epic thread. JAM is here, and she is always good for a lot of posts (not a knock, JAM, I enjoy your posts), we've got multiple streams of bickering, Jersey Jer's comment about having nude cell phone pics of the stiffer (which should be good for a few pages of posts browbeating him into sharing them), and the fact that this is a thread about OMG, which means that it brings a lot more traffic than a normal thread.

So come on people, let's prove Justin right. 40 pages or bust!

Az was working fine for me until I started to relay a story about Asia playing me Friday night.... As soon as I hit submit, BAM!!! the site crashed and didn't come back up for a day.

Now the post was never submitted.

So maybe too many people submitted a post at the same time....

As far as the story I was going to tell. I'll keep it to myself I think... no reason to talk too much...
