Wow is all I can say. I just bought this cue from Deanoc and it is everything he described and more. This cue is like a piece of jewelry. I believe Mr. Owen is approaching the upper echelon of cue builders. Take a look (Bob's pictures):

Cue

Nice looking cue. I have a owen that plays well and i'll bet yours will too.......hows the play???

I had it out for just a few moments and hit balls w/the only shaft that had any play on it at all. It plays really well, but I can't give a complete answer until I round the tip a little so I can juice it up without fear of miscueing, it was a little flat. It feels comfortable as heck so I think it will play awesome.

But...I just can't stop looking at it!

Bob Owen box cue

congrats on a real beauty. you bought from one of the greatest sellers, one of the best builders. Bob you outdid yourself on this gem. congrats to all. don
 
If I could take pictures like that this cue would have sold 10 times

Now you guys can see that Bob Owen is a master cue builder,Many of the top pro players
are playing these cues because of the play.
If you examine the cue closely ,I think you will see that the work is top tier

Bob learned the business working with Jack Shurtz,he has grown in front of our eyes from good playing to great,from basic to intricate

I would put Bob's cues beside any in the world right now,and feel sorry for the so called best

If you want a great cue,even your dream cue,if you were my brother and asked what should I do with my $2000 or $4000 I have been saving for that "special lifetime cue",Iwould
say"call Bob Owen"

Oh yes,this is Daves thread,Dave was such a pleasure to work with that I let this beauty slip away

Dean, you thread stealer you :). You can say whatever you want in my threads, no worries. Thanks for the cue - and what you said about Bob's quality seems to be all true. This cue is amazing and I'm very happy with it. You are someone I would like to do business with in the future!
