Unbelievable find and I am trying to figure a value for everything.

This is the contents of a Billiard Room is this gentleman's home.

Two 9' Brunswick Balke Collendar Anniversary Pool tables with ball return.
Condition of tables is too remarkable to describe other than the original cloth is still on the tables.
Two matching BBC Anniversary Wall Racks filled with Titlist Cues.
Original Brunswick Ball sets with an extra set per table in wooden ball boxes.
Four Brunswick Pub Tables, each with the matching stools, All same time period.
Plus other knick knacks like the table brushes, chalk, bridges, etc. All the same time period.

Going to have the room photographed before the teardown starts.

Anyone have an approximate value of these items??

Is $20,000 too much?

Selling, eventually.

Well, the reason I said that is that I think $20K would be at the top of the range and I personally do not pay top dollar for much of anything. On the other hand being the hypocrite that I guess I am I try to sell at or near top dollar for antiquities. Other things I tend to sell too cheap just to get rid of them, but when it's something hard to replace, I'm not as anxious to get rid of it. HTH

I'm no expert but $20K sounds like top dollar. The Anniversaries I've seen seem to go in the $4K-$6K range, though you said these were pristine so maybe you can add a little. But even at those prices they don't sell in a day. And offsetting that is the cost of shipping/setup. Mostly, tables seem to sell locally for this reason.

In any event, that leaves $8K t0 $12K for the rest of the lot. You didn't say how many Titleists were included. It should be easy enough to get a value for those. Once you know how much the cues are worth and decide what you would be willing to pay for the tables, you can back into what the rest would be costing you.

Anyway, at $20K I don't think you'd be stealing.

Again, I'm no expert so don't go by me. Just my thoughts.

I'll tell you one thing, I 'd love to see pics of this guy's room. Geez, Two Anniversaries in a private home room is impressive.:yeah:

I'd buy the lot for 10K, no more. By the time you move everything and sell it all, you'll be lucky to come out with four or five thou profit. 20K and I'd have to pass.

A mint condition if they are mint Anniversary Table is $5000 to $6000 all day long, a great price for the tables alone would be around $9000 to $11,000.

Assuming that all the other items are in great condition, Tables with stools, wall racks, and other small items add another $3000 or $4000. Then depending upon the condition and the wood used in the cues they are worth $150 to $300 sold individually.

So in my opinion while your price my be a little high it isn't that far off.

I think it depends on how long your going to keep the tables before sale. I think if you could buy them at $15k and wait for the economy to get better then you're in a good spot. Hell this sounds like a great set for the smithsonian capture a great piece of history.

I am with Jay on this one. $10000 is max. There have been a few tables trying to sell for a long time in the 4 to 5000 dollar range and haven't sold.

They are nice tables but I think most players today would rather spend that kind of money on a Diamond.

.

Sold piece for piece to squeak top dollar out of each item. 12~13K. As a lot 9~10K would me my top dollar assuming I wanted to keep them and not just for resale.

I'm far from a table expert but I'd have to go for 10K and if pressed, wouldn't go beyond 12K.
That will leave you lots of room for dickering on resale and still make a decent profit. Even if you keep one table, one bar table, a set of stools and the cues for yourself.

The Titlist cues as is or converted is where you can realize some pay back money for your investment. Heck, if you want, I can trade you a couple of my Dale Perry 1 of 1s for a few. See, you made a profit already. But then, I am a nice guy.

Great find anyhow and as far as I am concerned almost the next best thing to finding a Balabushka in an attic.
I absolutely wouldn't let those Titlists slip thru my sticky fingers. I'm drooling just thinking about your score.
Love to see some pics before they are taken down.
