Schmidtty is out visiting Bill again.

And you know what that means.

So far, 176, 173 and 246 in no time.

John really is incredible, thanks for the update.. And I hope you have to camera rolling on him just in case !!!!

Steve

I would like to see a 527 plus on a Metro so make sure you hit record....

Without doubt it is in the realm of possibility

After the 200 even, we went out and played 18 holes at my local course. Came back home, had dinner and in his third attempt he just ran 267. A pretty impressive day of straight pool. 246, 200 and 267, all on video. He is going to give it one more try in an hour or so. I'm getting a little tired of watching balls go in but if I fall asleep the camera will still be rolling, LOL.

John ust scratched off the stack at 168 3 innings after the 267. He feels pretty good about his game right now. Off to bed, try some more tomorrow.

I told you he hadn't shot his wad with the 246. I said he would come back with a 300, but I was a little off. He came back with a 200, 267, and 168 after 18 holes of golf.

Not too shabby.

Yes the kid is fantastic !!!!

What ever you do don't let him leave the confines of the table, a huge run is coming.... Keep that camera going, if he tries to leave sick the puppies on him !!!!

Thanks bill for helping John to shine !!!

Man O Man

All those numbers in the 200's & high 100's, that is really something. To put up those type of #'s in one day of practice....
I could see see, 200 once in awhile....
It is kind of scary..........
He is a great player and will go down in history along with the rest of the greats.

3 200 plus runs in the same day after 18 holes of golf is stupid off the charts!!!! That is a feat I'm not sure anyone has accomplished..Wow is all I can say..................

That is an amazing feat!

After I golf 18 holes, all I want to do is sleep! :o

It's mind boggling the way Schmidt posts 200+ runs. He runs 200's like I run 20's...he's comfortable doing 10x what I do. I ran 54 the other night, so he must have a 540 coming, right? LOL

No. He's been here since Saturday night. He just ran 200 and scratched two rails off of the break shot. The 200 and the 246 were 3 innings apart.

What a show-off, even his scratches are cool..................LOL!!!

Just kidding of course........................ but My God if I hit one of those numbers on a run my pool buddies wouldn't be able to talk to me for a month! No, for a year!!!

Mike

John is really a World Class Professional. I occassionally go to his Pool Hall (although not recently) and watch him play. It is impressive to watch him run 150+, 200+ balls without missing; even more so when I was his opponent ...lol.

John is a class act who will share his love and knowledge of the game. If you ever are in Wheeling, WV, stop by his place, Schmidt Billiards & More. Very reasonable rates on tables (cheap actually) and very, very good food. It is a small place with four or five 7' Diamond tables, and two 9' Diamonds. You can see it on Facebook: Schmidt Billiards if interested. John will talk pool, motorcycles, golf, hunting, fishing and will make you feel welcome. Nice place.

John is truly an amazing player. I'm so curious as to what he attributes his fantastic pocketing skills to. Is it eye timing, grip, is it his ability to envision the shots?

At some point in his playing something must have stood out as the reason he was able to make everything. :) I'd love to hear his thoughts on that.

what he said.
It really is astounding.
I don't think John is going to be satisfied with just another 400. Nor
do I know how long it takes to runthat many balls, Maybe a 10 minute break somewhere around 375 or so just to get some air or something...
