No cues on Pawn Stars?

This too is very funny!!!

Gold & Silver

I was out there in December, same time as the Tap Nationals, they had a predator made by Jacoby, 5K model in a guiseppe case they had marked at 2500, and a Predator BK cue they wanted 500 for.they were in the case on the right towards the end.

As far as being a Sh@t hole what exactly is a Pawn shop supposed to look like? I have been there several times in the past year, I have watched the changes they have been making this year and seems to me that they are doing exactly what any business would do if they suddenly had an influx of tourists, take advantage of it. Every time I see it on TV Its just like it is when you are there, only difference now is when they film they close the store.

Just catching up on some Pawn Stars episodes and thought I would share this. They don't show it very long, and it's in poor focus. Can anyone identify it?

I thought it looked like one of Sigel's cues.

There is an episode where Rick buys a Mosconi shadow box type display cabinet. The box contained a signed 9 ball, picture of Mosconi, and a cheap looking pool cue and case.I think Rick gave the guy like $400 or $500 for it,seemed a bit overpriced to me.

Pawn Jerks

I do love the show but was disappointed when I went there. I was there about 7 months ago. When you walk in there is nothing but a line to walk in and everybody walks right out. It looks nothing like the show maes it out to be in person. All I saw was complete junk there. They set up the shop to look like they have everything on the planet. Is all I saw was some junk old silverware, etc. There was literally nothing on any wall but a little poster I saw from the show. Its all staged. They have a little area in the back where they just sell racks of shirts and buttons.. pretty funny.

Yes, it is a complete joke. We went down there just to browse some pawn shops and ran into it by accident. I will not stand in line for hardly anything. A few friends did and came away disenchanted!! Actually all the pawn shops were more like gift shops. Maybe we were in the wrong pawn shop area!? Never found the rows and rows of pawn shops. I try our local pawn shops, OKC, for cues but have not found any real custom cues yet. Always finding MCDs for too much money. Still searching for the $50 Rambow!!

c and c...I felt exactly the same way you did, when I was there in May. It is WAY smaller than it looks on tv, and while I did see some of the items I had seen on the show, there was not the quantity of stuff that it looks like there is on the show. I saw the tshirts and shot glasses though. LOL

I'm surprised they don't show any pool cues on the show Pawn Stars. They show one in the opening of the show when it first comes on but I've never seen anyone pawning a cue.

My friend took the $175,000 Author Cue to the shop and was filmed, he was not trying to sell it, it was to publicize the cue and show. It was filmed but so far it has not been shown, I dont think it will be, because it was filmed along time ago. He also took another item in around the same time that was on one of the episodes.

funny side note I know the guy who took the Pez candy dispensers in and got into a beef with them. he is the only person I know in Vegas thats been on the show.

"My problem is I dont know how long it's gonna take me to sell it".

"WTF dude, you want me to sell if for you too?"
