TAR PPV with Dippy and Bart has been cancelled

damn i had a six pack and a thing of popcorn ready to rock. :-( owell hopefully something comes up soon.

Trent- curious as to what happened???

After two days of playing basically the same game Bart's guy decided he did not like the game enough to put up the $20K. Really nothing more to be said from there.

Its my fault for breaking my own rule about making both sides post a deposit, even though that really is no guarantee of a match either. A guy could easily walk away from a $1000 deposit if he thinks hes in a bad game.

The problem was they played each other for two days before the scheduled match. Never a good thing. I want to say that both Chris, his backer and Dippy all acted like gentlemen and were very respectable. Things like this just happen in action.

I apologize for it not going off. I work very hard to make sure we do what we say will and it really pisses me off when it doesnt happen for whatever reason. I'll find a way to make it up to the people who wanted to see it.

No sweat Justin, it just means I won't be quite so blurry eyed at work tomorrow. The world of action pool is very fluid my friend. Keep trying sir, and thanks for everything you guys do for us action hounds.

Almost got there

Not the first time an action match didn't come off because one side didn't like the game. This is just more transparent than most. Apparently a tune-up session killed the main event.

Justin-thanks for your efforts.

Are there any match advertising posters for sale?

Make it up? You've done enough for this game ...that it's already made
up in advance.

May I suggest.....10% non-refundable deposit from each party.
In case of a no-show, the one who shows gets his deposit back....
,,,and you split the rest with him

Completely agree with this.

I have a problem evenly splitting the forfeited deposit. Both parties should be motivated to see the match happen, even if it means renegotiating terms.

My worthless $.02

Fighters never spar with who their next big fight is with and that seems to be a good idea. In this case, maybe not so much for the combatants of this match, but obviously something spooked the backer.

Justin, file this one real quick in your sh1t happens file and on to the next case.

You have a great vision with your biz, keep hammering away.

I will look forward to whichever match comes next.

Best,
Brian kc

justin i admire you and what you do. you're trying your best and imo putting out the best product and best customer service in the business of live streaming.
you have no control over what people will do. this is not tournament pool where you have multiple choices of matches to show and can move two players to the stream table if two others are not good to go.
that being said it sucks. chris is my favorite player and i love to watch him play. if i had to pick a second it would be danny basovitch. i was really looking forward to listening to him in the booth doing comentary.

Justin and the party willing to play incurred expenses .....
...I think splitting is fair

JCIN is a hell of a guy, and is doing great things for pool.

He said it right too "playing before the game, is a bad plan" thats a action killer almost every time. Because someone will always see something they dont like and pull up. You cant ever let players play before the "Action" with out risking the real game. Because when they start playing the action has started no matter what the bet is. This is not specific to this time, it applies to all action. It can go the other way if both sides see something they like, but more often it dont work that way.

JCIN has alot of heart and this is only one day, action is spontaneous and waits for no one, I have seen games fall apart in 30 seconds after weeks of planning, and seen action just happen with 5 minutes planning. Thats pool. Action waits for no one. the deposit idea would cover JCIN's biz and I like that plan. I know we all want this to work.

best
