Yalin/Star plays just like a Brunswick/Olhausen/Diamond.. or what ever table you want to choose, as long as the "Table Jocky" set's it up right?
About a third of the cost.

Anything from China, unless made to strict specifications in the material & configuration is not going to match up with American made parts or products.
A man from China is no different than a man from America, however there are certain restraints that create limits on what any man can do. Most products are made from drawing with tolerances for production. But, when the raw material list is vague or the tolerances are opened up, the quality of the product is affected.
There are millions of products MADE TO SELL, but are they made to use for a reasonable length of time... the answer is no. This means the manufacturer is happy he got your money, but you may not be happy using their product. They don't care, because there more where you come from.
On most America Pool tables, most of the rubber cushions won't last like they used to. The consumer is used to this, so they buy more rubber cushions.
My 1905 Brunswick Monterrey Mission had gum rubber rails & they were still good in 2002. My latest Golden West had rails dried & cracked, in 5 years.
My Sierra pickup had bad parts at 67,000 miles, do you think GM cared... Ha!Ha!Ha!
There once was a phrase, "You get what you pay for". Too bad that no longer applies in all cases.
Do they come with a one piece slate? Or, how about Dyamondwood rails? How about their resale value, do they drop down to almost nothing? What about a warrenty? Do they support pool, or just support making money for themselves? "Table Jocky"...???

Do I agree that it plays like a Gold Crown or Diamond, NO!
John,
Who are the major tournament sponsors in china? Who makes good tables in China? What is the playing standard over there, as compared to over here (GC or Diamond with Simonis 860)?
I live in the U.S...so there for I really try to buy our products reguardless the cost..just talking pool related stuff..sorry my fellow men an women come first.
I don't want to buy anything from china!!
They play like the old Color of Money, Murrey tables.I agree that it is a decent table when set up right. Do I agree that it plays like a Gold Crown or Diamond, NO!
I spent the day once with a guy near Portland, OR because he wanted to talk to me about the In's & outs about designing and building coin-operated pool tables a while back. The whole time we were talking, he kept saying that his selling point of the tables he was going to built...was that they'd be "Genuine American Made". After a few hours of hearing what he want to do, and how, he asked me if I'd help him design his coin-operated pool tables...and when could I start.
I thought for a few moments, then told him...I'd help him just as soon as he bought "Genuine American Made Power Tools"!![]()
And did you recommend that he put Genuine American Made Cloth on his tables?
If not then why not?
