I haven't really posted on here in quite a while. In fact, due to work I've had to remove myself from the pool world and some other areas for a while.
Hopefully that won't be the case shortly as I miss the interactions with all of my forum friends and the sport itself.
So, without further ado, I am proud to announce the launch of www.epawnmarket.com

An idea over a year in the making, we hope to come to market with a truly unique idea. We will make loans or buy a wide variety of items including pool cues!! I see people selling their valuables because of the economy today when they really don't want to, or they can't get a good loan at the bank, etc... We plan to address that by making loans on stuff that people can't normaly pawn, high end pool cues are a great example.

We are also gonna have a robust marketplace. I envision an Amazon type site eventually where people can go and basically buy anything. If anyone might be interested in listing their items please send me a pm and we can discuss the details. Once the search engines properly recognize the site the possibilities are limitless for anyone that might be interested.

Everyone navigate the site, ask questions, and give me some feedback/suggestions. Or if you might be interested in using the pawn service please let me know and I'll put a rush on it.

Also, I plan on going to Derby again this year so practice up kids!! lol

UNFORTUNATELY, I like this idea and think you are on to something.

The economy is going to hell quickly and people will need to liquidate. Unfortunately it is their loss and your gain and the gain of others but you will be providing a needed service. I wish it weren't so.

Just in case you are pulling our collective leg, get to work on it because it sounds like a possible success story.

Hey man...glad to see you haven't been sitting on your arse and doing nothing!!!:thumbup:It seems though you have a great concept here and I wish you luck with it. I navigated your site and found it to be welcoming as well as simple to use. As an auctioneer, I want to move items I purchase quickly so as to not tie up my cash. With that said, I feel that a "make offer" toggle in your marketplace section may help you move items quickly. Otherwise, best of rolls to ya man!!

Sounds like it might work in better times. Not sure with this economy. You have to move the stuff you take in for it to work, and that may be where the problem lies. Good Luck!
 
good for you man. it's a shame we need the pawn industry but we do need it. it has bailed my fat ass out in times of need before. the site looks good and good luck with it.
and get back to shooting. i want that king of GA. crown:thumbup: i can't offer you the high action but a few short races for a couple hundred and i shall be king:rolleyes: and in reality when i loose i can take a loan against my cue to get my cash back:D

Our interest rates are miniscule compared to brick and mortar pawn shops. We are just offering a service like any bank or financial institution but will allow people that can't just go to a bank and get some quick cash to get some help.

I think this will catch on like wildfire - it should be a money maker in no time.

This is an incredibly cool entrepreneurial venture that is not only innovative, but I believe will be lucrative down the road. Best wishes for success to you!

In fact, I'd love to see the reality version of this on the History Channel. :D
