who has the best stroke in the world ?

Corey Deuel and Buddy Hall have the smoothest and most solid strokes of all time IMO

sigel for accuracy of hits. beauty, id go with mizerak in his prime. reyes probably most effective.

having said all that, i'll take ga young kims stroke myself.

I got to play with Larry Nevel alot when I lived in Wisconsin many years ago. He had such a powerful stroke and may not be the best but he was fun to watch!

Point well taken, but billiards, though requiring a powerul stroke more often than pool, does not require the kind of speed control needed in pool. Admittedly, balkline requires better speed control than standard three cushion, but I don't feel it calls on you to control the cue ball's final resting spot with the precision demanded of you in pool.

Guess I agree with you, but only to a point.

At the highest level, complete control of all three balls is required, particularly in 47/1 balkline. Take a gander at Caudron's speed control:

Between the 2 choices from op, Id go with Semih Sayginer as far as stroke.. Now if it was whose more charismatic ,Id go with Mike Massey undoubtedly ,,Mikes a super awesome individual, and very entertaining.. :cool:

Earl Strickland is in the mix. Wade Crane AKA Billy Johnson also had a beautiful stroke.

best stroke

BUDDY HALL and that all im going to say about that!!!!!!
:thumbup::thumbup:

U r not alone,Rempe had a beautiful stroke!

Rempe had/has a great stroke, but all his other fundamentals, for his height, were great also. Anything short of an Allan Hopkins style "poke" stroke would have looked good.

Rempe, Sigel and Miz were tough to beat when it came to power and accuracy of stroke. Earl definitely belongs with this group.

Of the younger guys, I love Max Eberle's stroke and fundamentals.

But for getting the job done, using any kind of stroke necessary, who has ever been the equal of Efren?

Torbjörn Blomdahl, Dick Jaspers. Pool players Wu Chia-Ching, Ronnie Alcano etc. It's really tough... A lot of players have great strokes =)
