CA$H Cues - Tommy's Contact Info

I think most of the guys that were buying his Engles cases knew the minute they got them they were fresh minted and from the source. The thing is they were too nice to really ***** about. Same with the merry widow CA$H cues, at the price they were damn nice, I still play with mine when I can

I think he may have gotten hit by a bus or something, its is strange for someone who posted 3 - 5 time a day stop stone cold since June.

I never had a problem with him, but shame on him if he ran away with people's money

I will have to remember the "grandpa's attic" tactic when I abscond with everyone's money.

Come back a year later and have an uncanny ability to "find" unblemished perfect cases......which of course I can sell for a premium since the "maker" is "out of business".

All I know is my friend Roy got screwed out of $800 with Sam Engels. Not only did he get screwed but he got screwed twice because Sam sent a partial order to Roy and then asked Roy if he could "borrow" those cases back for a show in Vegas. Roy sent the cases overnight express Fedex to Sam in Vegas on his Roy's own dime and never saw them or the rest of the order again.

Meanwhile Sam was selling on Ebay and when he screwed over a bunch of people here he disappeared. Tommy appears with his rare finds and the world ticks along like nothing happened.

I don't know Cliff. If everyone knew that the cases were "newly minted" and no one said anything then it's my opinion that everyone who bought those cases shares a little bit in the fact that Greg and a few others are now out several thousand in cash and cues.

All around it's a crappy situation but to me allowing a person to scam the board by selling cases that he is lying to the board about when many people are owed is not cool. Especially when it often means that the cash could have been spent with other people more deserving. And I know that some of the folks on AZ have enough money that they can buy from all the case makers as much as they want and never think about it. But others certainly have to budget their purchases and buying one means not buying the other. It bugs me that a guy can perpetrate a con that a lot of people know about but choose to remain silent about.

I guess I need to start counterfeiting some Harvey Martins or something. Someone said that mint ones go for $2500. Be a hell of a lot easier than what we make now.

I'm not rich and have hard worked for my Money, same as most here.
I think my 2500 are gone by Air:( and this from a Man who called me BROTHER:confused:
I never claim or robbed a Brother

$2500 is a lot to lose for anyone.
Takes a real sociopath to call you "brother", while ripping you off that way.
This hangemhigh character will go down as the biggest hypocrite of all time on AZ Billiards.

As far as Jess June goes... he doesn't care. He's essentially done making cues anyways. I doubt he picks it up again for anything other than a hobby. Why would he in this economy? So, don't hold your breath to hear from him.

Jess June DOES care. It's just that he is NOT involved in this mess Edward S. Engles, Jr. has created. His hands are tied, just as yours are. I have it on good authority that Sam still lives with his grandmother, Violet Hindman at 113 Carlisle Dr. in Jackson, TN 38301. BTW, Jess June plans to continue making cues as soon as he moves and sets up the shop. I surely hope so, because he makes one of the best hitting cues on planet earth.

JB---I think collectors knew the score when they were buying these Engles, at the time he was a reputable source that had a big presence on AZ. If they weren't a nice case no one would have bought them.

You know I am friendly with Roy, he was really irrate hearing his side of the story. I am sure Sam had another side at the time--it would be interesting to analyze the two. The pool world in general is not a gentile place always

His rep has since turned to sh*t, and no I do no condone his current actions, or him shafting the good people on here

A year ago Hangemhigh posted his contact phone as being; 731-394-6479
Hi Charlie, please say greetz to Jess from me as he is slow on Mails:(;)

It would be a Christmas Gift for me if anyone knows about Tommy,
want MY Money back:(
Ralf, was a sad Year 2011:sorry:

I know. I guess it's the fact that it was all done in the wink wink mode after Sam left a lot of orders unfilled. It would have been really great if Tommy would have "found" the orders miraculously finished and made those people whole.

You know I am friendly with Roy, he was really irrate hearing his side of the story. I am sure Sam had another side at the time--it would be interesting to analyze the two.

He meaning Roy or he meaning Tommy? Because Tommy's version is that the cases were sent to Roy. He sent something to Roy and then asked for it back to show in Vegas and Roy sent the cases to Sam in Vegas and hten never saw those cases or the balance of the order. Makes zero sense that Roy would get the cases and not sell them. Roy is the type that when he gets something he likes then he tries to order 50 more. Anyway, it's water under the bridge at this point......

It's really a mystery. Got to be drugs or something heavy. I can't see him investing so much time cultivating a good rep and then just dropping off the face of the Earth like this.

The pool world sure does have a lot of characters.

what a shame...

i really liked tommy

i trusted him a lot and he never let me down...

i tried to PM him tonight but i couldn't due to his PM box is full [maybe mike or jerry or mr. wilson could open his PM box for all PMs - i don't know if that is feasible or doable]

it is so sad to read this, i wish i could help

for the big money losers i could not afford to make you whole, but if there is someone who now does not have a cue i have a cue or two that i can afford to let loose so at least you have something to play with. they are not 'great cues' but at least you have your own cue. you can PM me

i am usually a good judge of people, but i never expected this from tommy

all the best,
smokey

Smokey-

That is a generous offer.

Many here have been disappointed, at best, and ripped off to varying degrees by Hangemhigh.

Your concern and offer demonstrates the exact opposite of Tommie's actions and behavior.

Thanks bud

Take care

to the unbelievable dignity of AZ'ers...

it has been 24 hours now and not even 1 PM asking for a cue

just think about that for a moment......

thank you,
smokey

Smokey, I started this thread because I lost my cue to all of this shenanigans. Luckily, I am in a position to be a collector of cues and I have many that I could learn to shoot with again and be happy.

I just want to say that your offer is beyond generous and I'm thankful that there are people on here like you. It's for that reason that I continue to frequent these forums and do business here.

Thank you,

Greg

Spent Wat Too Much Time In Here!

I just spent the last 4 hours reading this post....it was like a good novel with a sad ending. In my internet dealings I always hear the words of the great Judge Marilyn Milian (The People Court) in the back of my head. “El barato llega a ser caro” translated "The Cheap Becomes Expensive." I am always willing to spend a little more money for peace of mind. I'm not saying that it applies to this situation, but it's just a good rule to live by.

I would never buy from a guy who just posts on a forum, unless he has a legitimate brick and mortar business or a well known national reputation outside of a forum. Bob Frey for example has no internet presence at all, but I would have no problem sending him a check, because of his longstanding reputation spanning many years. (Fortunately I wouldn't have to do that since he lives less than 5 minutes away.)

Antfarm, I don't know what work you were having done to your cue, but if it's a Sly Cue, who better to send it to than the man himself?

I was having a couple of those now famous (or infamous) ferrulle-less CA$H shafts made for it. And as to why I didn't send it to Sly to make me an LD shaft.... well, that is a long story in and of itself and I'm not one to spread bad things about people so I will just keep my mouth shut about that. Let's just say that I probably won't be having Sly make me another cue in the future. It's just a personal thing. (if you have a desire to know that story, I'll tell it but only privately)

R,

Greg

To clarify what I said...

Just to clarify...you mean to say "give negative rep" to Tommy...not to Smokey. Smokey is one of the good guys!

Scott Lee
www.poolknowledge.com

Yes that's what I meant... negative reps to Hangemhigh aka Tommy or whatever his name may be and it goes to the ones that dealt with him and got burned by him.......

What a scumbag this guy is....But he never fooled me thou, I always had got bad vibes from him.
