Archer says Charlie Williams is in, AZ forums are wrong

I think it would be a mistake for anyone to question whether CW would have anything other than a USA win as an immediate goal.

We also know JA and CW are going to support each other:banghead:

"I also do not agree with all the criticism he got from the fans on the forums, and I know he will have Team USA's best interest at heart. Finally I am looking forward to seeing all the fans in Vegas. GO USA!!!!!"

Thanks,
Johnny

Archer might know a little something about that man. Go Charlie!

JA either gonna be a prophet or a peasant after this.

I don't care one way or the other about Williams but Archer is tied in with Dragon Promotions so it's hardly news that he supports Williams.

My only opinion about the Mosconi team is Earl should be on it.

Personally the only problem I have with his selection is the lack of credentials his resume contains. Apparently absolutely anybody can become captain of the Mosconi Cup team. I just can`t help thinking that there is some quid pro quo going on between Matchroom and Dragon. I can`t imagine what that is but such a stuplifying choice forces me to wonder. And yes I have heard the story about how Matchroom let the players choose. I wonder about that too. Just a weird choice.

 just for using the word stupifying. That's a great word.

I got to give it to you Mikey...When you get on a horse you ride em...You don't leave em in da pasture...

This statement made by JA is very true, ''not agreeing with all''. How could anyone on this board agree with ''all'' the responses to Any controversial thread. If we did that we'd be just the opposite of our Congressmen.

But was Charlie chosen from a list or out of the blue? I would like to know who else was on the list, if there was one.

Doesn't really matter. When they gave it to the players to decide, it was only the three returning players, not all 5, if I remember correctly. That means JA, Putnam and morris. How else would they choose, given the opportunity they had?
