Video of Corey Deuel running 229 in Straight Pool

He just made them look big. They are 4.5" or less, bet on it.

I'd be more than happy to bet 95% of the people on this forum can't run 100 on table with 5" pockets.

Running 100 is not as hard as most players think, it takes practice and focus. I have done it to many times to count and most of my buddies also rip off centuries on my table.

thanks for posting. interesting watching his pattern selection and great cue ball control. thanks again.

Awesome video... thanks for sharing...

The pockets did seem a little looser then a diamond. Some of Corey's shot selection seemed to reflect that as he knew he could get away with it on that table. (ex. 3 ball in top left corner at 41:20). On the same note, that is something admirable because he made himself familiar with the equipment. Anyone unfmailiar might choose a different shot then thinking they cant make it.

Regradless, that's better then I could ever do on any table. good stuff and thank you for sharing.

He's looking for sponsorship. He can't be fully committed on his own dime.

I suspect someone would have backed him if he would have made a public request. It's a shame one of the best American players isn't entered in a major tournament due to lack of sponsorship.

Bump

So I guess he put up three or 4 mid 100 ball runs, one at 194 and one at 229 so far.

I hope he plays in the Derby Straight Pool Challenge later this month. That is where he had his previous high of 153 which was on a Diamond.

Blackjack David Sapolis added some great commentary to it. Here is a link :

And here is a 125 he did last year at Derby:
