Good bye Whitney

The world is just a bit less beautiful as the world loses a magnificent singer whose vocal talent was without question one that was blessed by God.

In a hotel room at the Beverly Hilton, apparent heart attack. Of course, we will have to wait and see what the coroner has to say about it and they probably won't say anything until the tox screens are competed. There was no reviving her. The fire department was already on the premises at the time because there was a big pre-emmy party about to happen there, so they got to her in no time. The cops said they responded within two minutes and the fire department was already in the room working on her.

But how long was she out before the first person found her? Johnnyt

Thanks for the info. That is really horrible. I wonder how she died of a heart attack so young. She is fairly skinny build and I'm sure she went to the dentist regularly. Maybe the years of amping up the heart and slowing it down led to heart diseases. But wouldn't you think, with all that money her docters would tell her she has heart disease?

Sorry if this imposed on you not being billiard related but show a little bit of couth when its about somebody thats just passed away.You could of just skipped the thread completely but decide to click on it and still moan about it.

It could have been a while. She was taking a bath before Clive Davis' emmy party. Apparently her hairdresser and a body guard checked on her because she had been in there over an hour and they found her with her head underwater. It is reported she had been drinking heavily the night before. She was apparently also on Xanax and I guess they found several prescriptions in her room. Xanax can cause heavy sedation when mixed with booze.

We shall see. I believe her body was transferred from Beverly Hills authorities to the L.A. Coroner's Office. I'm sure they want to get this one right.

It's still in the wrong place. I, for one, could not care less about Whitney Houston. Sorry if this offends anyone.

I could have, but in my defense I didn't. Or the OP could have shown some couth to the living by putting this in NPR where it belongs with the OTHER whitney threads that nobody cares about........ good grief.

Again,to click on something that you know your going to have an issue with is just looking to rock the boat.The title of the thread is kind of a giveaway no matter what section it was posted in.And you don't need to care about Whitney to show a little bit of empathy.

Posting it in this section is rocking the boat. And I'm sorry, but I absolutely cannot empathize with Whitney Houston.
