Hey AZer's,
Anything this special is worth waiting for...
How to begin..
If you are lucky enough to have an ebony forearm 4 point cue from Barry or his dad, you know the've only been made Ebony on Ebony.
As per a special favor Barry made me these 2 Blanks almost 10 years ago.
Yes, Ebony/Purpleheart, and Ebony/Pink Ivory.
*If that wasn't special enough he agreed to do a set of twins for the 1st time.
*If that wasn't special enough he agreed to do both of them with a 3/8x10 Ivory joint.
Only a total of (6) 3/8x10 flat faced Ivory joints have ever been made by Barry, these are #5 and #6. Barry has no plans on making 10 total.
The Purpleheart cue has Silver inlays, and the Pink Ivory has Gold.
Back in 2006 Jack Justice made me this case for the twins. But, not until last week did the twins finally rest in their new home..
Barry did an incredible job, and I cant thank him enough.
Curious which cue will be AZer's favorite.

Amazing cues Ken. Those are definitely special enough to wait for. I think the purpleheart is my favorite, but how can you pick between two monster cues like these.

forget to mention,i like the purpleheart better,but must be honest and say that dont have nothing against the pink ivory:thumbup:
 
I read the intro in the OP very slowly...then I ever so slowly scrolled down the page like it was a freakin' striptease or something!!! I savored every minute detail of these pics...I can't imagine the look on your face when you saw them in person for the first time!!! STUNNING...BOTH OF THEM!!!

Ken, You showed me those incredible pieces of art at SBE, they are just amazing. there is no way I can pick one over the other, every time I think I have one picked I change my mind two seconds later.....there just tooooooooo cool. I would wait twenty years for those two..LOL
 
well ken if you didnt allready have so many great cues i would say this would be your highlight of your collection...however these will fit nicely with all your other SOUL CRUSHERS...:angry: THAT THEY ARE NOT MINE...

I am so glad that I had a chance to see these cues in person.
They are truly amazing in every respect:
that is the materials selected, the design components, the symmetry throughout and most of all the idea that Barry has only made 6 cues to date with the big 3/8" pin - That Is Oh So Special!
Thanks again for posting some beautiful images of these cues.

Both cues have Ebony noses. It is in the OP.


10 years ago Ken started the order of the cues. He waited his turn like everyone else. So if you put your order in 9 years ago, you are right around the corner.



I like the one with the PH. I believe it flows better, in my opinion. Yet both cues are executed flawlessly.

as all said before, this are nice Monsters. I would love to own the Pink Ivory Cue as you know how LONG I search for the Ebony/Pink Ivory Mc Daniel:(

Those are awesome cues. It would be hard to pick but for me I think the purpleheart would be my slight favorite, I love how well the wrap and case match up with the cue.
