No question that these types of match ups are better off negotiated quietly without the distractions of the AZB rail birds. The two match ups that Justin is currently working is ample proof that a behind the scenes approach works better for all parties.
Negotiation stage? With whom? Far as I know, Danny has not contacted Justin to "Negotiate".
And yes, Mark Griffin is easy going and would like to see this match happen but if it does, it will be under original offer... if Danny were to contact Justin

The only thing I might add is once you decide to leave "matching up," promoters want you! I’m amazed at how many pros this has happened too.
It is sad because while the pros were active, nobody showed any interest. But as soon as they put their titles and talent away, everyone wants them playing again.
It just shows how promoters have nothing to sell without the players.

Point well taken, but I don't think this thread should be deleted. Mainly for the reason that this thread shows us true colors of people we are dealing with.
1. Justin is a fair & straight shooter.
2. Mark just loves the game and doesn't sweat the little stuff.

Allow me to break this down for you all:
1.) Bottom line this match will and needs to happen.
2.) Danny knows this and so he started the process of healing with his heart felt post No. 486. Well, it was kind of an apology but then he tried to be funny at the end and it might have become an insult. But it doesn't even matter. Money is money.
3.) I also listened and watched Podcast 14. It is clear exactly how Justin sees the whole situation.
4.) It is fair for him to feel like frick it. Can't give money away. Well come get it then mofos. But you got to play Shane even. We will see how that goes.
5.) BTW, you can read a lot with Mark and Justin's body language.
6.) I agree that today Justin may not be a good negotiator but if he could learn more about human behavior and appear to be more tolerant it would help him get things done.
7.) Justin is not a closer...he is an opener. Opener's are usually entrepreneurs and leaders.
8.) Closers are usually sales folks. Mark is a closer. So they make a good team.

If Mark or someone else wants to jump in the quagmire and try to do this match more power to them. I wont have anything to do with you. No bloody way am I spending a second working to put money in your pocket. I gave it an honest fair shot numerous times and all you do is spout nonsense.
Everyone seems to think this match is a huge moneymaker. If thats the case I'm sure there will be plenty of people willing to put up the money and deal with the metric shit ton of bullshit that will be required to possibly get it to go. According to more than a few people its easy so anyone should be able to do it.
For the people who think I'm being harsh... you have absolutely no idea what has went into trying to make this stupid match over the years. At one time I wanted to see the end of the story and thought we could make some money. Now I simply do not care.
I agree with you Justin, but the problem is with this world is sometimes you have to deal with shit. That is life, and especially business. I don't mean you have to lay down to anyone but sometimes you have to just bite your tongue and go with it. You said it as well as alot of people, this would draw a BIG audience, especially now that all this drama has taken place. It might be something to reconsider just this once if both parties, well one party finally agrees. You did state that you want to give people (PPV buyers) what they wanted. I think this would definately be a huge success. If this goes off I think you will be remembered for what you were able to bring together not the petty drama shit that has been happenning with trying to get this together. But it is YOUR business and you do what you feel is best. I just think this hype has gotten this showdown to potentially be the biggest you ever had at TAR.
