Just curious what other hobbies pool players are interested in. So for the non pros... what would you do with your spare time if not for pool?

I would take Karate or guitar lessons.

I'm looking for a hobby that will take up the time I can't play pool anymore. Use to play 4-5 hours a day. Now maybe 2 hours tops. Johnnyt

Playing the 6-string bass guitar. Or competitive rifle shooting.

I would take Karate or guitar lessons.

I would spend more time writing music and more time painting and doing photography.

Play the drums more. Hoping to get a part time, once or twice a month gig.

Perhaps get back involved with amateur radio. I used to be quite active "on the air". A very interesting hobby.

Took karate years ago, would love to get back into that, were I to have the time.

Golf, fishing... I used to those things many years ago, and would like to resume doing them again.

Life interrupts all these good things, doesn't it?

I cycle in more hobbies all the time.

Let's see...
I was the captain of the rifle team in high school.
Took up fencing in college.
I have a nice collection of rare and not so rare orchids.
I got into wine and became a sommelier for a restaurant.
I like old razors and shaving with mounds of hot fragrant lather and badger brushes.
I love traveling and hiking.
I'm an HPC systems engineer for a living.

And, I love billiards.

I'd probably get back into NRA competitive rifle shooting or spend more time playing on the radio.

hobbies

shooting pool takes a back seat to my hunting. Coon hunt, bear hunt, deer hunt. Shooting pool 15 years. Been hunting 45 years. Pools fun but hunting comes first.

Pool would take a backseat to online poker if it ever becomes legal again. I play so much pool now it isnt even funny. oh well
