BB, I thought you were kind of an a$$ when I first started paying attention to your posts. Then you grew on me like a putrid hemorrhoid. For some reason now I actually look forward to what you have to say!

Shooting Arts (Hu) sent me an email about this thread. My daughter also set me up a Facebook account after years of me telling her it would be a waste of time because I won't know how to use it or even have time to just sit there. But I got a FB message from Cuebuddy re: this thread.
When I looked thru it, it was kinda funny because I certainly don't see myself like that. I usually only post in threads that are related to pro players, major tournaments or threads that have info on historical aspects of our great sport. Hard to get into any controversies talking about how great a player Fong Pang Chao is!
For what it's worth, I'm sure that everybody who was mentioned and a whole lot more who were not named also have " a good posting voice".
That's not me trying to be humble, that's just the truth. Everybody likes a different flavor of whatever, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, etc.
Here's a list in alphabetical order of who I think are some of the most positive or members here....

It has been said a few times already in this thread but there are many members here that are upbeat and contribute to the board in a positive way.
Many of us feel that if you have nothing good to say.....well you know the saying. That does not guarantee that we cant be drawn into a thread and coaxed into being "less then positive":embarrassed2:.
Life for many is a serious thing and a forum about the cue sports does not have to be, even though it may seem like the game is in the doldrums. This sports popularity rises and falls but it will never go away, it will always be a big part of those who are hooked.

Tee-hee. I'm a three finger-picking lady on a five-string banjo. None of that clawhammer stuff for me!
At the 47th American Country Music awards a little over week ago, right after Earl passed, Steve Martin got up with Rascall Flats and performed "Banjo Man." There were two banjo players, Steve and somebody else. During the middle of the tribute to Earl, Steve put his finger picks in his pocket and continued to clawhammer the rest of the song.
I was horrified. :shocked2:
Earl Scruggs is the bluegrass and banjo legend who introduced the three finger-picking method on a five-string banjo. This song was a tribute to him. Steve puts his picks in his pocket at Counter 02:28 and clawhammers the rest of the song ---> HERE
