Who makes the best cue?

Who makes the best cue IYO? I need a new one and play a lot of one pocket with a 3 mm shaft.

I think Searing made the cues and here's a pic of mine with 3MM tips

See it- take it- test it.

That s it :)

It s all about your personal feeling-nothing else!

Looking at your signature line, I would choose Meucci.
Whenever I break one it's usually a Meucci. :grin::embarrassed2:

(Most interesting man) I don't always break a cue, but when I do, it's always a Meucci (Most interesting man) :D

The best playing cue is the one you have the most confidence in!The cue could be made by any reputable maker. There is NO one best cue

Are you sure its not a 13mm shaft? 3mm sounds kind of small.

I prefer Tads

I like your choice! But NOT with a 3mm shaft, it does sound a bit on the small side. I too prefer TADs but this subject is purely subjective and will definitely draw many different opinions.

That is a great question, kinda like who is the best pool player. You are going to get many many opinions but few useful answers, because only you can say who in your opinion makes the best cue after you have tried a number of different cues and found the one that feels best to you.

Oh and by the way, the question "who makes the best cue" changes sometimes from month to month or year to year, it all depends who the dealers have received the best deal from and who they are Promoting at that time.;)

My advise to you is to try a number of cues and find the best one for you!!!!!

No disrespect to anyone concerning my comments, please understand I do not now and never have sold anyone a cue labeled as the best cue!

Good Luck in your search, I think you will find that it is kinda like buying a used car!!!!!:D

The forum has already taken you to task on the 3mm shaft so I will attack your bankroll. Your signature indicates you have too much money. If you are a fat cat, try ordering a Mike Bender cue. If your bankroll is suffering a bit, you can try a Steve Lomax cue. Both are exceptional cues.

Most people will favor whichever cuemaker whose cue they are currently using and I am no different but I do like the precision that Mike Bender uses in building cues and I LOVE the way Steve Lomax cues play.

A cue is about personal feel otherwise there would only be one cue maker and we would all be playing with those. I'm not you so I can't help you. Sorry.

My only advice would be get a cue that feels good and solid to you, then spend your money trying different tips until you find the one you like. It's a lot cheaper and the wait time isn't nearly as long.
