Dennis Orcollo will be doing a one day clinic at Tiger Products factory in Burbank, CA on August 4. It will start at 1 PM and last until 5 PM. He will give personalized instruction to a small group of people. It is open to the first four people who sign up at a cost of $150. Food will be served during the day and you will get a tour of the Tiger facilities. If you're interested in spending a day with perhaps the best player on the planet, contact me at jayhelfert@yahoo.com. Thanks, we look forward to seeing you there.

Dennis will also be available for private lessons during the week of July 31 thru Aug. 6 at my home in Redondo Beach. Two hour lessons are $200. You can also call me at (310)370-3994.

hi jay
i love your idea
if it were possible for me to get there i would gladly come

i bought one of the last 3 cues made by Dindo Perez, nice cue
amboyan and ebony

If someone will buy the cue for $350 i will sponsor 3 jr players to attend

jay can pick some decent kids in the area

ps,,the cue is really nice, very attractive, new and unhit and with a certificate of authenticity

this time with dennis should really be memorable
anyone in california should jump on it

Dindo was a great filipino cuemaker, one of the best. He died earlier this year, maybe only in his late 30's. :(

His cues are valued at that price over there and should be worth a lot more over here. You won't be unhappy if you buy that cue, it should only increase in value. There won't be any more, sad to say.

I just found out that there may well be a surprise appearance by another famous filipino pool player. He plans to tag along with Dennis after Tunica. Tony tells me we have room for up to six people max.

how could anyone miss an opportunity like this

jay,you are really making it easy

i was thinking of doing something like this for $500 each

isn't fatboy in your area now
surely he would enjoy a few hours with dennis

Dude, that is a steal of a deal. $150 for 4 hours split only on such a tiny group of people from the guy who is very possibly the best pool player on the planet? If this was in Calgary I would be in for sure.

<edit> $100 is truly criminal, but I would rather pay $150 for a 4 person group then pay $100 for 6. A 4 person group is alot more intimate and people will learn alot more and get some individual time in with Dennis, 6 is starting to be a crowd and the lesson style changes to a more general group thing

wow

200 for a two hour lesson????????? WHAT A DEAL:thumbup:

I didn't think a player of his calibre would waste his time for a two hour set for 200.

too bad i don't live in cali:(

Although Dennis is known as a great player, and he truly is, he is also an excellent teacher. I've seen him spot nuances in a player's game that needed some fine tuning and with a little nudge here or a slight shift there, viola, they are playing better. Dennis notices things that most of us would miss, including me. :)

can ya tell I'm excited?!!!!!!!!!
