Just found this pool cue - what can you tell me about it?

I am a very, very casual pool player. I play when I'm out and about, I'm about as good as the next average Joe, and I do not own my own table. That said, I found a pretty neat pool cue today and was wondering what you guys could tell me about it, if anything. There are no markings or words anywhere on it that I can find, so here are a few pictures of it. Thanks in advance!

That kind of cue is sold at every big box and general sporting goods store in the country. Not really a quality product, but at least it's something you can mess around with until you want to pick up the game more seriously and drop some coin.

I believe the metal rings can be removed or added to change the weight and balance.

It may be possible to play decent with one, but it will be far easier on your learning curve if you pick up a $25 Players or similar cue from a pawn shop. Keep it around in the event you ever get to negotiate a gambling match where part of the spot is that you get to choose the cue your opponent plays with.

I think this was also used in proctology exams in the late 60s.

Keep an eye on the doctor, if he starts to screw in the third piece, you will really need to grit your teeth and hold on to something.

Btw, the case is worth 20X's what the cue is worth,

which would bring the total value to about $2.00

........ in pesos........

at auction....

.....in about 100 years....
