So you think they are poor quality cues

I could be wrong, but I understood the other member's comment as meaning the cues are underpriced.

I think there's a thread about Prulhiere in one of the review sections.

Sorry, but, what exactly do we mean by too under priced. I don't know this guy or his cues ( I'm about to go look) but .... he's making them, he's obviously happy with the pricing vs volume being sold or they would be a different price. He has obviously determined how to capture some market share or those wouldn't be the prices.

Are we so Obamaized that we are starting not to recognize free enterprise and competitive trade?

If anyone buys one of these, I'm sure he would accept an extra hundred or two from you if you really mean they are too under priced. :)

I don't make a lot of money on them, it doesn't take a degree to figure that out. My goal is to make a nice cue for a budget price. In this economy, I think it is a nice benefit for people to be able to buy a custom cue and still pay the gas bill. They are not cheap, shoddy, or made without care. I love making cues, I still make a little money, and I feel like I am helping, or doing my part in the current economic down turn. To answer another point, yes, it is also to be competitive in a tight market where names mean everything. With the quality of these sneakys, if the exact same cue had a recognizable name on it, I could double or triple my price. For now my name is still relatively unknown. Just my 2 cents.

ps...he is right, I would except over payments.... ;)

You can pay more for a custom of the same caliber elsewhere. Hence, they are under-priced for the market.

From everything I have heard and read he makes a nice cue that shoots well. In addition I have ad some extensive interaction over the web with him and find him to be a great guy. I do not know him personally nor do I own one of his cues. I do hope to have him make one before he stops though....and I am getting close.

Although his cues are new to most of us, IFAIK he has been building cues for better than ten years. Some of the foundation of his construction and dimensions is derived from the old McDermotts, which are legendary players in their own right.

ordering a full custom

For what it's worth, I am in the process of ordering a custom from Brian. I/we are in the early design stage, but I can say Brian is a great guy to work with.
He is very patient, helpful, and easy to work with.

Just a quick heads up to Brian - I sent you a PM a little while ago, I'd be interested in getting some more details about a custom. Thanks!
