Best Sneaky

Question for all the experienced and knowledgable people that contribute to this forum with the best intentions. Who is building the best sneaky at the moment? I'm looking to get one made and want the best, trustable builder. I was looking online for a Scruggs and other sneaky's but some people are asking for an arm an a leg for a cue that needs some serious overhauling. Just looking for some opinions and possibly a few leads.

Thanks in advance : )

Paul made one for Fred and Barney, before wood was invented. Nawwwwwwww he aint quite that old but you can get a great hitting cue with a Dayton.

I don't know if there is any "best sneaky".

These are all real good ones:

Bob Frey
Bludworth (red dot)
Judd Fuller
Richard Harris
Tim Scruggs

i have a jerry olivier sneaky that plays great
his prices are very reasonable
ive hit with a paul dayton sneaky and was very impressed on how solid it felt and played

is a {bonner} nuff said

last bonner I had was fantastic, and I ended up selling it for next to nothing when I needed cash.

I'd check at www.dzcues.com Bob does a great job, timely delivery, and reasonable pricing. Not sure if he is still doing sneaky style cues, but he will answer a email pretty damn quickly.

Yes I've shot with a Frey before (friend of mines owned it) and he would never sell it. But later decided to but I was out of state working when I found out he did.

THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE MOST LOADED QUESTIONS I'VE EVER COME ACROSS AT AZ FORUMS.

THE SCRUGGS YOU DESCRIBED SOUNDS GOOD , EVEN THOUGH A TON OF WORK IS NEEDED TO MAKE IT RIGHT.

SOME FOLKS SAY DAVID JACOBY MAKES AN INCREDIBLE SNEAKY PETE CUE.

HOW ABOUT JMW (James M White) , HE STUDIED UNDER PAUL MOTTEY.
and REST ASSURED TIM SCRUGGS WAS CLOSE BY.

LEE PEPPERS MAKES ONE OF THE BEST QUES ON THE EAST COAST , GETTING AN APPOINTMENT IS ANOTHER STORY.

TRY TO GET A USED KEVIN VARNEY , HIS WORK DRAWS TOP DOLLAR and FOR GOOD REASON.

or... PICK UP AN OLD BRUNSWICK TRU Balance and HAVE a CONVERSION DONE TO YOUR SPECS.

and again ... BRICK CUES , HE'S ALWAYS GOT SOMETHING IN THE CORNER OF HIS SHOP WAITING FOR A GUY LIKE YOU.

GOOD LUCK , hope you find what you're looking for.

I have a Frey that is hard to put down but I play with a Black Boar and thats the only reason I put it down lol

I am going to sound like a black sheep here but I love my McDermott M11B sneaky. It's a monster and as sneaky as they come. And you can easily find one for less than $300

Somebody had one on the wanted/for sale forum for i believe about 140. You can get a new one for under 300 from an internet site.

In addition to Paul Dayton and Bob Frey, I also recommend Terry Mcfadden
and Ernie Martinez for great sneakies.

I love my Diveney ebony hustler. I think they are very underpriced. http://www.diveneycue.com/
However, the cue I keep going back to and will never sell is my Jacoby bumperless ebony hustler. I don't know if they all play like mine. I don't think you could go wrong with either of these. Both of mine are ebony hustlers with white hoppe rings (jacoby is elforyn and Diveney is ivory) and right around 19 oz. The Diveney has triangle tips and the jacoby has a tiger dynamite.

Depends on what you can afford!
Hanshew
Hills
Sugartree
OB
Josey
Sauer
Carter
