Can't wait to see the cues
Meet the guys I've talked to for years
Meet some great cue makers

I just hope the East Coast guys got themselves and their fabulous cues out OK.

Who is going to Vegas?

Thanks

Kevin

I decided not to go. You'll have a blast - bring your camera. Are you staying at the Red Rock?

I have my work camera packed and yeah I'm staying at the Red Rock. 10X odds on craps and ICCS.

Hey, kvinbrwr. Isn't it illegal to stoke and drive?
Anyway, have fun and don't spend all your money in one place.

I understand it's a really nice resort. We're planning a pretty large convention there for 2015 right now. I haven't seen it yet.

Please take a bunch of photos of any Tads or Ginacues that you may come across. And please use a purple background.....

I'm back home and I had a great time. The exhibition and exhibitors were great and Mr Prout is an extremely gracious host. I had a great time and was like a kid in a candy store.

I took a lot of pics and I will share as soon as I get some edited. While I was in Vegas my wife went to an auction and I'm buried with stuff to sell. Work (sometimes) comes first.

I met lots of guys I had previously been on the phone or eMailed with and it was fun to meet face to face.

While I don't have pics, I'll share one story. Denny Glenn is one of the guys I've talked to and never met. We have spoken for hours with him trying to educate me about both George Balabushka and Gus Szamboti. The Glenn family has an unbelievable collection of artifacts relating to pool, its champions, and, of course, cue makers. Denny was gracious enough to let me take pics for my personal stash, but asked that I not share them as his family is planning on opening a museum in order to share their collection. All I have to say is that if you ever get a chance to to go a show where one of the Glenns is exhibiting, don't miss it. Denny showed me stuff that made my jaw drop.

More to come.

I'm sure it will be close to home. Its unbelievable the stuff that family has. They have been at it forever and have great connections. Heck, they ARE the connection. Denny showed me things I hadn't even imagined existed. I'm in the collectible business and he just blew my mind. The Glenn exhibit was surely one of the highlights of the show for me. The other highlights I have pictures of and will share when I get (somewhat) organized.
