I think you might have the edge on Nathan, maybe put up some decent money and settle it on the table. What would you guys play?
I respectfully submit to you that what you write on this forum, since you are a "known" entity, can be construed as being "libel."
I am a cameraman. I do not know if its ever been played in competition or if its even an original idea, perhaps someone has thought of it before but I have yet to find any documentation so I will claim it as my own. Haha.
My lawyer informed me that it is only slander if it is a lie! I tell only the truth...Lenny can kick my ass!
If we were in New York, according to Cleary, it is against the law to pull out a purple and orange set of Bonus Balls.
If I was at the studio, I would need proof of where I was being sued by Company A, Company B or Company C or if there were other companies and shareholders that I still don't know about.
If we were in my basement, I got a 4.5 x 9 with hard pockets (rattle, rattle) so they are tighter than Larry nuts when he hears my name! I would chose to play bonus Ball, race to nine in my basement with $200,000 dollars worth of streaming equipment!

Slander is oral. Libel is print and "broadcast." You may want to pick your words gingerly on this forum when it comes to business matters.
Definition of a "lie" in legal matters can be debated ad nauseum, and the only one who wins is the lawyers.

It is not a press release just me feeding the trolls as a good forum member. All the information you get from me, Dave and Nathan will all be near identical because it is what we know. Like I said I guess its better if we leave our friends here in the total dark with only rumors and misinformation.
Again.....make more excuses. 3k isn't shit. Sure, over 100k in total is a good chunk.....but 3k doesn't help a single player very much.
Don't go to work like you are promised for over 6 months and tell your employer to pay you 3k......apparently its fair.....
3k is probably more than some of them have made this year in any one tournament they have played in along with having to spend much more in expenses and entree fees along with actually having to perform and win matches too. So basically when TAR puts up a few grand to the players to play for 3 days it does not help the players you are saying or Accu-stats putting up a grand per match for the 4 days the MIH went on for with some players winning 2-3k. I am sure the players had a good Christmas with that money they were given.
Leaving people in the dark is what Larry did to Jimmy, Barry and the pool community. He must assure the pool community that the players funds will be paid to a trust fund in advance. Then I will shake his hand and walk away happy. These players don't deserve any more abuse. Is that slander?:sorry:

When did I say it's against the law? Just because something is stupid doesn't make it illegal.
I hear you're a player. When you come to nyc to promote your game, I'll take a few balls and try you some one pocket on a reaaaaaaaal tight table.
All this infighting is quite disheartening. Much of it is out of place here on the forum. Ownership issues and corporate bickering among the equity stakeholders of bonus ball should be dealt with privately. I cannot recall another pool venture in which management infighting took place so publicly.
We all know that mistakes have been made in the launch of Bonus Ball, some of them big ones. Few of us are really in a position to judge how much of the problems are attributable to bad management and how much to bad luck, but we have all read the posts of those few who are best placed to size it up. For example, Eric (Fatboy), a business proprietor for decades in Las Vegas, has related that he advised Larry Chiborak long ago that building the competition arena in Vegas was a bad idea given the business climate for consturction in the area. We've also learned that others, such as Diamond and CSI offered assitance with the project that was turned down. None of us are likely to conclude tha the project is simply a hard luck story.
Some have suggested that we on the forum should mind our business, stay out of the debate, refrain from negative remarks about Bonus Ball, and sit on the sidelines until the WPBL is a living, breathing reality and Bonus Ball matches are in progress. I say nonsense!
There is certainly nothing unusual about potential purchasers of a product looking for and studying all aspects of the product they are considering buying, especially when it will be sold by a business entity with which they've never interacted with before. On AZB, we lock horns passionately with each other about pool's direction and its immediate future just because we care about it so much.
Here on the forum, nearly all of us would like to see Bonus Ball succeed. Most of us know pro players and people who will be employed by Bonus Ball and wish them well and hope that Bonus Ball will bring them some much needed and well deserved income.
We all look forward to Bonus Ball, which we know will have very high production values, but let's not be delusional here. The success or failure of Bonus Ball lies entirely in the hands of those who may or may not choose to purchase the pay-per-view WPBL matches. The membership of AZB represents a meaningful sample of those who might purchase it. Hence, how we all feel about it is always worth discussing here on the forum, and anything that anybody who cares about pool has to say about Bonus Ball is of interest to me.

I actually have sent many emails and texts to Larry to make some progress. When Dave Lewis and others attacked me, I simply need to ask these questions here because Larry won't give me answers. Oh wait, sorry, that's a lie, he got his lawyer to answer me and it was not what I was hoping to hear...he is mad at me! LOL

Lenny, as others have pointed out, you have become the BB spokesmodel by default. It doesn't matter what your motivation is.
Back when I used to teach this stuff to CEO types, one of the things I would tell them is that they needed to have a sole focal point for their release of information. IOW, an official spokesmodel. Everyone else in the operation should be told to STFU because the only thing that you get when you have non-official spokesmodels talking is half-assed PR at best and damning PR at worst.
I would also tell them that in the absence of an official talking head, someone who was not authorized to speak (and who only had some of the right info) would do their talking for them. That's not good. And that's why they need an official PR type to do the talking.

I just want a fair buy-out if your going to steal my shares, start up more corporations to raise funds and have anybody you want do my job. PLEASE, put the players money in trust!
That way, if you fail, I won't be part of the pain you are going to cause! This is my final plea to bring some peace in the corporate community.
I also want this to succeed! It was my hard work that got Larry to having this concept. His concepts never worked and that's why Bonus Ball sat on the shelf for years. I think I would enjoy
seeing it play out one season at least! I perfected the game and I ran all the test tournaments to mould the bugs out of it. I spent the time and a lot of it! I gave up 30 percent of
my shares to bring in the first two investors and Im a lot pissed off that he decided to try and grab my final 20 percent to people I have never met!
It is morally wrong if not illegal. Most won't argue that if any of this that I say is true. It is! Is that slander? :sorry:

Then this thread started, and I was drawn back in. I've been following the "progress" through this thread, and am amazed at the exchanges between the various questioners, commenters, backers, employees, ex (?) shareholders & ex (?) executives.
to sjm: Your post summarizes why most of us care, and why we would expect that Bonus Ball (the Corporation) would be more forthcoming with a diffinitive progress report. Their target audience is active in this Forum, and it would be in their best interest to keep us informed. I'm sure Lenny, Dave and Nathan are fully committed to this project, but that's not quite the same as having a progress report from the ownership/management.
