Accu-Stats is too expensive

$76 for a week is ridiculous and it goes up every year. Free streams have better quality video. Some of the commentators aren't even worth listening to. Half the time it's an empty table. I guess I'll just have to cherry pick which sessions I want to watch or wait until the 9 ball starts because I'm not going to pay that much.

I kind of agree with you on the cost. Although I haven't purchased Accu-stats before, so not sure on the quality. But for that price, I would want to pick the match I want to watch, which means they'd have to have setup on every table. Which I'm guessing they don't.
 
Not sure if original poster has watched any accustats in the last few years but the quality of the production is FAR SUPERIOR to average free streams. They have multiple camera angles, crystal clear video and only put up great players. As for the commentary, generally that is way better as well.

Big Truck and TAR also do a great job.

As far as price goes, how much would it cost you to attend the event and see it in person? Think about that next time.

And everyone has their own wallet. Mine says spend the money on lessons. I really enjoy watching the pros play and have learned an enormous amount from it. But I'm happy to watch it on youtube.

You tube will never show you justin hall down 2-0 in the bank finals and bank 9 in a row to win but like you said its your money
 
wrong! quality and comontators are the best. I will buy the accu stat stream regardless of whatever free streams are available.

Just think about how much it would cost to fly there and watch the matches. Is it really that expensive at less than $9 per day or are you just cheap?

YA! Less than $9 (per day) to see the best players compete in 4 different tournaments... here something that might be helpful to you and the cost is right! :grin:

Everyone has their opinions on what price point makes things worthwhile to them so I can't comment on that, but saying the quality is substandard is ridiculous. You can see every last detail in their high definition streams and it is much higher quality than every other stream I have viewed.

Unfortunately, I don't have 9 days to watch pool, so I am just going to buy daily streams when I have the time.
 
Pat Flemming has done so much for pool I cant say anything bad about him. I hope people enjoy the streams and he does well.:smile:

i havent read the other posts but $8 a day doesnt seem outrageous

3rd that....They do a great job and IMO the quality is completely worth the price. Think about it this way...you get to see a lot of really great matches for a bit less then the price of being in a hotel room near the tournament for only one day.

That is kind of BS.

There have been more then a few times they have put womens finals matches from weak womens fields where the women are not even close to the top caliber female players on in place of mens semi finals matches between world class men playing to make it into the final match.

At times this has taken place the people on the chat, who PAID accustats for the stream have shown pretty much universal displeasure at this type of BS, asked that the critical mens match be shown, and accustats have in effect told them to go screw and that they will show what they decide to show and the people who paid for the stream can like it or leave.

That type of customer service for what is a very expensive stream is completely unacceptable and it has been a very long time since I have last bought a Accustats stream because of that type of crap.
 
I just came from the movies

Movies Tickets - $50.00 - Popcorn, candy & drinks - $26.50 - Accu Stats - Priceless!!
 
So today we got to start with Efren vs. Bartram, then right into Justin Hall vs. Huidji See, and I think there were two more matches after that that I wasn't able to see.

Four matches for $8 = $2 per match! I think that is a great deal for the quality of play that we saw today.

I've always liked Accu-Stats and will always order from them when they're streaming an event, because I know it will be top quality. :thumbup:

Hopefully Brumback will be on the stream tomorrow! :D

I guess I've never seen the women's matches. I don't even like watching the top women play. I can see how that would be off putting. Ill rephrase to say the mostly only put up the best talent. But of course nothing is perfect.
