From AZB players profile, Justin has been around, his 2008 was the best making 47K, true not one pocket matches much, then looks like he slowed down a bit, but he seems to be on top of his chart

Justin is making a strong impression as of late. Let's hope he keeps it going. Every pool player as their streak, some longer than others. We need some new blood. I hope to see his name in the headlines a lot more. :)

My God he can play no doubt, i like his moves in one pocket. This year IMO has the most deliberate fouls in one pocket from all years, Cory and Justin owed 4 each during there match, and also has the most "you are on two fouls" and the 1st time ever a loss of a match due to three fouls committed by touching two balls while on two...
Great tourney thanks Accu-Stats great stream..

Really its just AZrs that don't know much about him the players all know him. He has been around since he was about 12. He was a 3 time jr national champ and has beat a lot of people for the cash including morra and oscar on tar. He was playing poker for awhile but he must be wanting to play pool again and as you can see he knows how...

at first i thought he had easy bracket, man he can move, and run the hell out of those balls.

Justin only played one TAR match it was against Morra at Dan Tull's in Olathe. Morra played Oscar at Hard Times in TAR 16 I think it was. That was the match I started numbering them.

Its possible Justin and Oscar matched up on a TAR stream somewhere but they never had a promoted match with us. Its good to see Justin come back and have some success he was always a nice guy in my experience.

Pool players in St Louis have known about Justin for quite a while. He was good at a young age. I remember him taking down a one pocket tournament at Harold Johnson's place a few years ago.

Problem with pool is lack of money. Ability to play at a high level for a young guy is part blessing, part curse.

Gotcha I know he beat oscar I thought it was some sort of
TAR match. My point was he isn't a new player by no means. PS Justin my boy Justin Hall wants to play a TAR all around:D

Funny- i had the exact same false memory- i was going to post that Bergman drilled Oscar on TAR-guess i mixed up my young guns too.

This kids been in the grease for a good 10/12 years. I remember him and JHall neither could see above the bar box tables when they were up in St.Louis long long ago.

It's just most on here have no idea what's going on if its not streamed.

I met Justin when he was a little big shot................

It was back in around 2006 2007 sometime.

I was working with Charter as a direct sales contractor and was working close to St Louis.

I was playing a little pool and would journey into the poolhalls from time to time.

I hadn't played for about 6 years at this time so my game wasn't real strong all the time.

I met Justin in a small pool hall in Illinois. He was 17 years old then with a cigerrette hanging out of his mouth that seemed bigger than him. I remember having a conversation about getting rid of those cigs if he wanted to be a champion.

I don't know if he still smokes but if he does he's done it dragging a huge boat anchor called addiction. if he does still smoke, he needs to quit and he could become the best in the world.

Move over SVB. This kid has some huge talent.

Justin is a really good kid. Good for the game.

When he was only 18 he came over to Olathe and played one of those $10,000 matches.

I bet $1000 in the poolhall. It was like stealing. This kid was just as cool as the other side of the pillow.

I havn't really talked much to Justin other than just Hi here and there when we pass but if I run into him today or tomorrow and he is not busy winning another tournament here I;m going to retell him how if he quits smoking he could be the best.

Who Knows. Maybe he already quit.

Another young guy that's so good for the game...............

Justin

Watchez corrected this in another thread. Justin gave Oscar the 9 playin 10 ball and lost in LA a few years back.

He did just start really playing again a couple months ago. Before that he would show up and play some then disappear for a while. It was hard for him to get action. Most handicap tournys go to 13 or I have seen 14. One tourney made him go to 15. Very hard to fade that with other great players going to 8-10 alternate break. We all hope he sticks with it. Iove going to the pool hall when he is there. You never now what you might get to see. Usually I have to travel to watch great pool.

I'd like to see a shuff/ hall all around, not to steal bergmans thunder here n all...

And o/t...I got to watch Bergman a good bit in pa, around 05/06 and he was all business. Super solid, cue did all the talking. Made me real shy, fer sher.

I can't believe he's only 25. There were quite a few years where I wasn't paying attention to pool, this was right before SVB became well known. I remember hearing about Justin before Shane. Shane's 29??? Hmmm.

That would be a great matchup. Have to go with Hall in the banks, and the other two would be close.
