is it possible to buy a searingcue for under 3-4 k

Sure Can.....

Yes, you can score such a cue but......there's always one.......don't expect more than a merry widow version or even all ebony or maple without any veneers etc. Bad news is the really handsome cues (level 3, 4, 5 & up), well those style Searing cues start $5k and escalate quickly too.

I know a member in Oklahoma, that has a 4 point Tulipwood Searing,with2 veneers .He is asking 4.5K,but he won't ship it.You would have to go and get it.I am considering it if he will deduct my air fare from the sale price :)

Here are some pics.Enjoy.

I would say a Conversion is about all you will find in that price range!
A nice Searing with points and inlays will run about twice that!
Unless you are on his list and he is making it for you!

This is not really very accurate. Your estimations are off.

IMO theres definitely a few cuemakers you could spend 3-4k and get a much nicer cue. Yeah you could spend that on a plain merry widow that is probably as exact as it could get from him but honestly he cannot be the only person who can build an exact merry widow or an exact other style of cue lol. Its a name and hes did a great job on gettin the price tag for his name. He does make a good cue obviously but the prices for those plain cues are just silly.

it's not Dennis that sets the silly prices. Cues from Dennis are in line with other top tier cuemakers prices.
