Actually I just don't see a point to asking things he cannot legally answer IF that is the case and think many of us would like to see more pros posting on AZ....

We have seen many players come on here and move along because outside of AZ many in the industry players and members alike look at AZ as a forum for knockers... It's easy to play the bashing game when allowed to sit there anon... Not so easy when you are known and sign your posts with who you are....

Instead of thinking of me as CNN think of me as your "mom"... "IF you can't say anything nice or constructive then don't say anything at all"... better yet "just stfu" would be more apt coming from me.....

I realize there are times that hard questions need to be asked but an AZ forum is not always the time and place.... I didn't even think about asking Ralf or Thorsten about the BB deal in person because we all know it is a sore subject at the moment... More so for them than any of us because we are all on the outside looking in and not owed anything....

I'd say keep the questions focused to things you would ask in person standing around in a crowd and avoid the things that you know would be taboo or embarrassing or just nitty to bring up.....

Wow... JA posts on FB all the time about church and being a Christian. Says he will pray for Mike...then talks about death warrants and drops the F Bomb. Not surprising. I bet he's Baptist. :confused:

Mike has sent me TONS of these. I've got more. Mike isn't a saint either. He gets under peoples skin with the best of them... but yea. I've seen Johnny's text to Mike and others in pool, and he doesn't have a Christian mouth.
 
Unless I knew 100% fact that Johnny sent those text messages, I'd NEVER post them on a public forum.

If he sent them to Mike D., he should have posted them if he felt so inclined. JMHO.

I like Johny, but the ABP is a BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD joke in my eyes. It does nothing but shoot itself in the foot at every turn it seems.

If Johny is the head of an organization that is suppose to protect the pro's, how the heck can he talk to fellow Pro like this. This would be like if your boss went out of his way to get you fired, simply because he doesn't like you.

Pro Players should act as such. Professional...

I've said it before, the best thing for pool is the "bad guy." *More people will watch them lose, vs. watching some one else win. *I.E. The anti MD, and Earl crowd... Why wouldn't you want MD at your events?

Also what comment was made that set Johnny off? link?

Same way the ABP/DP/BB all have the tendency to tell their fans to go fly a kite. I expect no serious answers, just more of the same. JA may be a nice guy, but if he handles business like this then he's just in the wrong.

I'm sure everyone has said something out of line to someone at one time or another. I don't find it appropriate that the text messages were shared by someone that wasn't the original recipient, if anyone Mike should have been the one to post them. That was a private conversation between two people not public.

Johnny doesn't owe anyone any explanations. He offered to answer whatever questions he can that aren't covered by the confidentiality agreements which he doesn't have to do. What he says or does in private is nobody's business and nobody should be getting involved in it unless you yourself have never said or done anything wrong.

Ugh. So much wrong here.

If he and his organization weren't fudging with the game, fudging with the fans and fudging with other pro-level players, then you'd be completely right. So, other than that..

Probably good advice old buddy.

Certainly we shouldn't expect the man to answer everything that he is asked on here, some will have a commercial angle and won't be answered Others will be too trite to bother with.

I am sure that Johnny is aware of what are the Hot Picks that people are interested so rather than keep answering repeatedly he should set the questions himself and then answer them himself. Then if people think that he has not covered any particular point on a subject then they can ask specifically about it.

Otherwise, the impaxt and the good intention of the thread would be lost
