One more game for Chris and then we start hearing all the usual health excuses from Gene why he didn't win. Not once have I saw him write I lost because I got beat by a better player. Johnnyt

Thanks boys

Nice match by both contestants. Gene proved he can hang with Bartram. Couple things go differently and who knows what can happen. One thing I know is playing on a 4 in. pocket table can be anybody's game.

I don't think you understand what it's like for Gene. He plays within his capabilities...those capabilities change day to day. If you think it's easy hang out with him for a couple months. :eek:

Congrats to Bartram for proving the experts right and congrats to Gene for putting his best foot foward. Gene has game, but Chris is a PLAYER. Hope the bar box match goes down, but the outcome will be the same, perhaps a little closer but with the same winner.

Special thanks to Bigtruck for the stream(even though I couldn't watch it due to work......boo). Thanks also for this great thread, unfortunately it will be dying soon, but it was a great read while it lasted.

I feel the same; couldn't watch it; leagues and work. Big shoutout to Truck and to the two players. They both woofed and Bartram got it in the end. They both should be thanked for letting all us live vicariously through them as evidenced by the many threads. May both of them break some banks in the future !

I have to disagree. Gene yesterday said Chris played good. I played bad. No mention of health or conditions. I applauded him for the statement.
 
Enjoyed the match but I have to get up at 5:30 am. Had to quit watching a little after 10.
Thanks Chris,Gene and Ray. Hope to see more of these type matches.
Stellar play on day 1 Chris.
