Right, or at least I would think so.

TAR handles AZ pretty well I feel. AZ is full of detectives and JCIN seems to fade that stuff pretty well. I think its easier for him because he is truthful about what he releases which makes it easier to keep straight.

If i read it right, Danny thinks he has a match with Str8 and has told TAR he passes on their proposal.

Mark says Str8 has no interest in the match. That sort of leaves Danny out in the cold if Mark and Kim are being forthcoming with us.

Someone is misinformed and its not due to TAR's misinformation.

As I said, I think we have all just entered the Twilight Zone on AzBilliards.

This will go down as one of the epic threads in AzBilliards history. We've got the Dippy Dave saga thread, the James Walden's girlfriend thread, and this one is still going strong. Do you think we'll reach 20,000 hits by midnight?

Situations change. Suffice it to say, Str8 Shots no longer seems to be part of the TAR negotiations. They might do something in the future to make us all happy/sad, but that bears little on what we are trying to do now, which is get Danny/John playing... :-)

See... that's where I called foul on everything:

1) Str8 Shots shouldn't have a seat at the TAR negotiating table. If Str8 Shots wanted their hand in the jar, they could have taken a % of John's cut...between John and them privately. TAR shouldn't have to restructure their free-roll offer to fit Str8 shots in.

2) Str8 Shots probably whispered "residuals" into Danny's ear, which is a tool to get him to flip over to their side, basically knifing TAR. Once again, allowing them to produce their own event which was the "OBVIOUS" hidden motive from square one.

3) I get that Mark Cantrill was feeling around to see if he could put that match together very recently, but Justin has been trying to get that together for years. How can you have TAR produce the first two matches and then have their rubber match produced by someone else? Someone can easily argue that TAR doesn't own those players and that's true -- but as a player, I'd never risk pissing off the industry's leading action stream company just because a noob firm chirped sweet nothings in my ear.

The situation never changed -- it was a constant from the first post. Their initial intentions were obvious, people called them on it, and not it's bubbling to the surface that this was the plan all along.

Summarize:

1) Str8 Shots says "NO MATCH FOR HARRIMAN/SCHMIDT" due to hatred, corporate image issues and exposure to juniors, while looking like they were angry for not having a cut.

2) Str8 shots makes another post further indicating that the reasons behind #1 were baloney

3) Danny asks about residuals to which JCIN says "good luck in the future"

4) Danny posts soon thereafter saying, "I agree to Marks terms and Kim's terms."

5) So it's clear that Str8 Shots is producing this in one way or another, since there's such thing as Str8 Shots terms -- which is contradictory to what Russ mentioned above: Letting John do whatever he wants with TAR.

See, that's a cover story because there is no TAR since Danny liked Str8's terms over TAR's terms.

Maybe Str8 Shots should clear this up in a post containing only bullet-points (no paragraphs) in order to eliminate the BS, spin and misdirection.

Ah, now it's coming out. Imagine that -- it's not about the juniors after all! So, while the few Str8 Shots supporters were calling everyone like me an animal, now it seems all the lambasting was TOTALLY justified.

Danny, things to consider:

1) When someone gives you a FREE shot to make money, basically funding an exhibition match and pays for your expenses when you're there, they have the right to collect all of the future revenue of that match since they're the one who needs to cover their nut. They're the investor/producer - it's theirs. If you and John bet your own and pay for your own expenses and "allow" TAR to stream/record it, you have every right to ask about residuals.

2) TAR has produced your first two matches and has done a great job in doing so

3) STR8 Shots is a brand-new entity who may not be around tomorrow. So, if Str8 Shots agrees to pay you residuals, you have to consider their stability and chances of being around tomorrow. What sounds great isn't necessarily great - you have to weigh all options. TAR has a long history of paying players and "being here tomorrow." You can't get residuals when a company goes belly-up.

4) There are only residuals if people buy the DVD or pays for the stream. NO ONE will buy this match with Str8 Shots producing it. Trust me on that. Not with these snake moves.

I'm DYING to see this match, but I'll NEEEEEEVER buy this stream unless JCIN is producing it.... especially after these maneuvers by Str8 Shots.

It's a girl dog. He seems to follow me and my daughter everywhere. However, Keith is the one that throws the ball with him in the back yard multiple times a day. So each time when Keith goes out to smoke a cigarette, the dog follows him, hoping to get a few games of catch in. :grin-square:

He's Keith's "baby boy," though. He can't walk past him without giving him lovies. :lovies:

Our lives now center around the dog. :o

Forget everything except

Why is Kim telling Danny they will play in 2014? I don't recall TAR stating they will have a match sometime in 2014.

lol, I said from the beginning that there was NO WAY that anyone with half a brain wouldn't want their logo all over a potentially high viewed ppv matchup, period. There had to be some alterior motive and it looks like it's gonna rear it's ugly head sooner than later thanks to Danny spilling all of the negotiation beans.
