Back to you and why you don't get played. Have you ever thought that based on what you have said on here, you're not a good score?

People want to know they can win something when they are a lot of times go-offs and might lose the whole bankroll. You've said that Gene makes you pull up, or you are only allowed to lose $5 a game.

Maybe if you were playing some good sets, people would come around. You ready for the $1k to $2k sets big boy?

is Rodney Morris a big enough name? He came up to Gene and thanked him for the lesson he gave him 4 years ago, he said he still remembers what Gene taught him and uses it every day.

Are people trying to say lower ranked players can't improve with help from an instructor? I don't know how perfect aim works. I have to imagine if a player has stroke issues that is covered in a lesson. I am a mid level player and have probably played the same almost all my life. Like most players. If I had received some proper instructions somewhere in life maybe I could have been better. I am 45 and thinking of getting some lessons. Someone local. Just hope they know how to teach. For those without true natural ability, well we need help.

If your going to ask why Gene isn't as good as SVB with his aiming system. Guess the same can be asked why aren't you with your no aiming system. Not sure how old you are but Gene is up in age with health issues. In just about any pro sport. They have someone who is always teaching them new techniques. Tiger woods still has a trainer. Think he would have figured it out by now. Think SVB changed his stroke to be more consistent. Did he do that on his own or does someone work with him? I would bet almost any great player learned something from someone.

Slow down there jburk, you just got to the party in September. Get to know some people before you attempt to speak of that which you know nothing about.

Well I have never said I know something no one else knows
If I did know something that no one else did then I would do things other people don't

1 man and no aiming system

Gene,

The players you teach can't hold a cue. You give them a "mini lesson" (is that like Einstein saying E=M OK, pay if you want the rest) and they make a few shots, your system is so great. It couldn't be that they make 4/10 straight in shots, and they missed 6 before you got there. After that, they made 4 in a row and think it was Gene and his mini lesson.

There are a slew of people I've seen who have taken your $200 lesson, and it's 1-2 years later, they are the same speed $200 lighter in their pocket.

Where are all the better players at? Can you rattle off some names of people that have gained and are playing so much better based on Perfect Aim?

A lot of Perfect Aimers in Russia huh

You claiming seniority Tommy? I would say if he has a good point it doesn't matter how long he's been here.

George

<----- got some seniority :nanner:

I could help his game for sure
He jumps up a lot and his form is not very good

If he took 3 hours of lessons from me he could beat you son

When a guy beats on me for two days and then offers to help me be a better player I listen. You can listen and decide to take the advice and use it or not.

Either way you paid for the lesson so you might as well take the walking stick offered.

So you think we actually tried to figure out where some other teacher plans to travel? We were here coincidentally as we were at the U.S. Open and our action dried up a week afterwards at Q Masters so we went to the next nearest non-smoking town same thing we always do we didnt know you were going to be here. Besides you do not teach what Gene teaches so therefore regardless what Gene teaches to someone you still have a potential client in the future. Actually no teacher teaches the same exact thing that Gene does so you are pretty safe. That said theres a good reason for us staying here at least until Nov 9th, I am trying to get Gene to play in the Pockets Qualifier for the East Coast 9 ball tour. Then once he wins the qualifier we will be headed to Midlothian VA for 1 month. If he does not win the qualifier we have no reason to stay in VA and we will head to NC instead. The Midlothian event is the last thing we have to look forward to this year. And then our focus will be on the DCC.

Come on over towards Hickory. The Q City 9 Ball Tour is at Randolph's on Saturday.

Wish I could get one quality instructor in S. Fla. Gene and Lee back to back would be please take my money, and thank you.

This does not make financial sense, 6 hours to get to Hickory from where we are at, then another 6 just to come right back where we are since the tournament we need to have Gene play in is right here in Newport News VA on Nov 9th. It makes more sense to just stay right here and play a couple local tournaments this Saturday.

On another note today I dropped Gene off at Breakaway Billiards and headed over to Hampton VA to play in a local bar tournament at Josh's and ended up winning the tournament. Then after the tournament I went back to Breakaway where Gene was finishing up mini-lessons and then we headed over to Pockets.

I wasn't there even 5 minutes before 2 different men asked to play me but claimed they both needed a spot from me playing any game in pool. Both of them played too strong for me to give out a spot so I declined.

Then I played a single game of chess with one of them for $5 which wasn't a good idea I really should just stick with pool. I am not good at anything else.
