The document of our pool related road trip across the U.S. updated daily

Chris...I dunno...

1) Efren, Jose Parica and a whole bunch of other killers seem to still play pretty sporty...and they're 60+! Efren may only be 59! Naturally he's "over the hill" by some people's comments!

2) Agreed...like Gene said...it's not rocket science! LOL :D Lots of people are capable of teaching what I teach...they just don't travel around like I do!

1) I'm sure being 60 makes it hard to play at a high level

2) I'm not saying you can't play gene but to think you know something no one knows is dumb

1 man and no aiming system

You really need to come with me sometime when I'm doing these lessons and see player after player after player talking about how much better they are seeing the shots.

You get there from repetition and that's fine for now.

But when you can only play for a few hours a week because of travel and lessons it's hard to keep your game up. Even harder when only half of the muscles in your shoulder are working right and it feels like you got punched there the next day after playing. But for me that's just the way it is for now. Trying to make it better.

Too bad you we'rnt around in the 80's and saw what I did on the road.

But in this pool world it's how you play now.

I respect the players that have been out there and done this or that.

I respect you as a player and like your game.

I don't know If i can ever get to where I want to be again with my game. The last car accident really did a number on me but that is the way it is.

Rhea saw me having a few siesures the other night.

But just like you not knowing at all what I teach, I really don't know what i don't know from my concussion.

Bottom line is you don't know what you can't remember or don't even know.

Just the way it is.

Perfect aim might be something good
But to say its something that no one else teaches or knows I'm from Missouri
If you know something great that no one else knows you should be able to back it up
By that I mean do things no one else can do
Gene I could help your game a ball or so with a lesson

I don't think you can improve Gene's game with a lesson. First you have to improve his health!

His game all depends on his health, if he's playing good then he feels good, and if he's playing bad well then we know his shoulder or concussion is bothering him.

I could help his game for sure
He jumps up a lot and his form is not very good

If he took 3 hours of lessons from me he could beat you son

You gonna start doing lessons, Chris?

How will you sell "1 man and no aiming system" to the masses!;)

Gene,

The players you teach can't hold a cue. You give them a "mini lesson" (is that like Einstein saying E=M OK, pay if you want the rest) and they make a few shots, your system is so great. It couldn't be that they make 4/10 straight in shots, and they missed 6 before you got there. After that, they made 4 in a row and think it was Gene and his mini lesson.

There are a slew of people I've seen who have taken your $200 lesson, and it's 1-2 years later, they are the same speed $200 lighter in their pocket.

Where are all the better players at? Can you rattle off some names of people that have gained and are playing so much better based on Perfect Aim?

Gene far to good for me!! What's he gonna spot me?? me and you can play some if you like???

Gene said I have no shot at playing you even, he said I need at least the 5&out plus all the breaks just to make it a fair game, and then I still might not win since I am just a D player. Plus on the odd event that I do win it might kill my action with the small percentage of B & C players that I could have played.

Gene would like to offer you the wild 8 but nothing more than that hope you take him up on this offer when you come to town.

is Rodney Morris a big enough name? He came up to Gene and thanked him for the lesson he gave him 4 years ago, he said he still remembers what Gene taught him and uses it every day.

I called Gene back when he was talking about free phone lessons. He spent about 15 minutes or so on the phone with me while I was at a pool table. I found the things he told me helpful. Gene was one of several factors that contributed to me cracking through into the "A" category. I could very much see how some focused time with him could be helpful. I know, I'm a nobody in the pool world. But I like to give credit where it's due.

Rodney Morris has been a world class player for 15 years or more. he never misses balls unless he has a hard shot that he has to do a lot with the CB and the pockets are Diamond or very tight...just like anyone else that is world class. Rodney likes to kid around a lot. Believe me, Gene didn't teach Rodney $hit. Johnnyt

Calling me a liar is pretty strong there Mr Johnny....

hope Rodney hears this Johnny.

He personally told me thanks for showing him this at Bullshooters July 7th, 2009.

This was at Q Masters about a week ago and told me he uses it everyday.

Now why would I say something like this if it wasn't true.

When you can show a pro player something that helps him and he tells you that he would like to sell your video on his site because what I teach really works well, you know you got a winner.

Please know what you are talking about before you put down any more words of wisdom.

Please..................

Like I said Rodney likes to kid around a lot. I see he was kidding with you also. Johnnyt

No one said you're a nobody at all.

So Rodney got a free lesson from you, he sure wasn't going to pay $200 for a lesson. In addition there is KMRUNOUT, who says the phone lesson helped him break through to a pro level speed.

Pinkie and I just got off the phone with Lee. He's not a happy camper, not our biz to assess, and I won't, time may tell. He'll be in Greensboro tomorow night, he has lessons lined up at Gate City Billiards for his short stay.

So I offered him the 6 out. He laughed. He wants the orange crush. ;) Welcome to Greensboro Lee. That's what we do. (Even for them English blokes)
