I just wanted to say thanks to all the AZBers...Its amazing to me the amount of people on here that are willing to help one another out! I recently had a bad experience with someone butchering a tip job on my cue and had questions about learning to do my own tips. I've had several people not only answer my questions but even offer to send me tips or to have me send them my shafts to fix the problem. It's refreshing to see people helping people.

There is a lot of nice people on here, for sure.

If you lived closer to me....I'd do your tip repair for very cheap (I always charge my friends the service for the cost of the tip, sometimes they give me a little extra, but I don't ask for it). So...I basically do tip replacement for free if you furnish or pay for the tip.

Well said, Shaun, and when you have the pleasure of meeting other AZB posters, you are never disappointed.

I do the same thing Maniac. I not sure why but the last few tip jobs I have done I have even paid for the tips.:confused:

I do the same thing. I recently did one for a friend, when he asked me what the damage was I told him " The tip cost me $8.00, I cleaned and burnished the shaft as well so how about...$8.00!" He shot with it for a few minutes, handed me a twenty and said keep the change. ;)

The people that run this site are great people also.
I have known Mike for years and he ran a great tour for a number of years in Arizona and I enjoyed playing in it immensely!
