Realistic looking imitation Ivory?

Elforyn is a good choice.
Ages ago, a man wheeled a cart full of rounds, flats, various other shapes of some cool looking white stuff into the BCA trade show. Bob Meucci captured the pile I believe and it was never on the market again.

Well, that was easy. Masecraft. have a look around as they also have many other interesting materials.
The imitation ivory that they sell might be a little brittle, just like Meucci ivory but it does have the striations in it just like ivory.
Jimmy Baxter knows more about this stuff than I do. I believe that he has used this and I have to make an order. It is most likely much more durable than the Ivory that I have in my Meucci. Give him a PM if you want to know. From the description, it sounds pretty durable.

These would not be big enough for butt caps or joints I don't think however for
inlays this does look very much like Ivory, hence the name.

Interesting that you heard/saw this.
I remember some older Meucci's with white inlays that looked exactly like ivory.
I was impressed by that material, whatever it was.

I always knew it as ivorine. I believe Atlas used to sell it.

Yep, Ivorine. I have a sneaky with a Ivorine ferrule on it that i play with right now. Its very hard to tell the difference. But I do prefer Elforyn. Kikel once told me why he preferred to use Elforyn instead of Ivory for joints and ferrules and all the steps he goes through to test a new batch before he uses it on a cue. Sold me.
