Rodney is playing miserably. Accustat rating is @ 630. Efren @ 860. Don't recall ever seeing a rating for a pro that low. 9-2 Efren.

Oh ya, he and hatch were on the mosconi cup, I guess that qualifies them as pros.

Without practicing up, I doubt they make it anymore with Mark Wilson team captain. You will have to practice and earn your spot with him. Hopefully he can stay team captain year in and out like the euros has.

At the Glass City Open in Toledo one year, the quarterfinals came down to Hillbilly, Kid Delicious, Troy Frank, and Corey Deuel. BCN was filming the semi-finals for TV.

I'm always up like a rooster when we're on the road. I can never sleep in. The BCN owner Rob Sykora saw me in the hall and invited me into the tournament room while the four players had their quarterfinals meeting. Pat Fleming was there for Accu-Stats. Buddy Hall and a guy named Bob from California (nickname escapes me).

Elephant balls was going to be a prospective sponsor for BCN, I think, and Rob asked the players in the quarterfinals meeting if they wouldn't mind switching to the elephant balls, that he'd give them each $100 extra to pay with them. The cueball was black.

Troy Frank couldn't believe his eyes looking at the black cueball. Corey said no way, as did Kid Delicious and Hillbilly. Pat Fleming couldn't contain his laugher after seeing the players' reaction to the elephant balls. :embarrassed2:

CYCLOP balls, I just learned, are from China. I guess they're a new sponsor for American pool.

CYCLOP balls may be hard to see, but these Elephant balls with their camoflouge design are equally difficult to look at, to include the black cueball. :o

With the new video clarity I don't see the need for TV balls anymore either.
 
PINKLADY; Bfdlad just confirmed that they used the exact same balls @ The Decider Match @ Montana w/ Earl v Shane. see above - we've checked on 2 laptops & plasma said:

Please go back to standard colors.

That was fuggin classic.

If that's not a death nail in these stupid ass balls, I don't know what it will take.

I've watched almost every rack of the BigFoot, and I don't recall ONE where the commentators didn't confuse at least one ball/shot.
