Would you play Jennifer B even?

if I had $1000, I would play her even 8ball or 9 ball on a bar table race to 25.

I would go with Jeanette too.

If I was JB I wouldn't play her at her homeroom with those 3 7/8" gaff tables. Johnnyt

Are we talking jeanette lee or someone else cause if you think JB could beat jeanette for the cash your delusional.

5 years ago I would agree with you. JB has come up fast. IMO if the WPBA had a 8-12 tournament tour still, I believe JB would be ranked higher at the end of the season now. Johnnyt

I'm talking about jenny lee that had beat omgwtf. Jenny looked like crap at the swammy this past weekend though.

Jennifer could beat Jenny. Jennifer can't beat Jeannette.

There are no 3.75" pockets at Amsterdam Billiards. There may be one at Society.

In the 7 or 8 years that I've played in the same room with Jennifer, I have never seen her hit not even one ball on a bar box.

Jennifer does not gamble often.

Jennifer has a very slow and deliberate pace. It can drive you crazy if you let it.
If she's free rolling, she can be very tough. She plays at an A level.

Jennifer is the salt of the earth. Please, keep it clean. No misogynistic comments.

Yes

Yes I would play her even. She probably needs a little weight, but we'd start out even and go from there.

She's a very good player though and I'd have to play good to win. I'm quite sure my " B game " wouldn't cut it.

Let me know when we can make this happen...lol

Good thread OP, Jerry

I played JB at Hollywood Billiards years ago. A friend of mine told me I could give her wieght ( her said the 7, so considering the source I gave her the 8). I gave her the 8 ball and she beat me hill hill. This is going back over a decade. She was there with all these other gals at a tournament. I believe if memory serves that the winner of this tournament could join the pro tour. She is a very classy lady and I heard she has become much better.

I'm with you my dude...they don't know. I wouldn't play either for the cash...they'd beat me like a drum. They both run the eff out!

Most lady pros are C-B players on the WPBA tour. The top dozen would be A players I believe. I would play 80% of the women on the pro tour for money and that includes Jennifer but I am not saying I would be a lock to beat her and I would have to play my best.

Lenny, it sounds like we play about even. Lets gamble...lol.

Seriously, the top dozen you mentioned and maybe a few more are great players. If you look at the top 5(maybe a few more), the common A player should need weight. I guarantee the men on the Joss Tour take Karen Corr beyond serious when they're in a match with her. I saw this first hand at Turning Stone and she really holds her own and then some.

I would hope so...

Karen Corr was the number one or number two female player in the world for many years. I would hope that most A players would have difficulty with her or at least take her seriously...

I practiced with Jenny Lee a couple of years ago before the swannee, I think she might have won 3 or 4 games in the hour and a half we played. I have no idea how JB plays so I wouldn't know but I'm pretty sure I'd be willing to play her even...

I've run into a few of the ranked female pros in tournaments throughout the years, and I think most would be considered a high-B to mid-A level when compared to the men (except for the ladies at the very top, who can play much stronger).
One thing that I found is that the female pros are generally have very strong mental games, I guess from trying to make it in a predominately male sport, and that makes them very tough to play against.

I remember a tournament where I drew Li Jia, and fluked into a safety on the hill. I looked over to offer my hand up in apology and she gave me a glare that bored a hole right through me. I dogged the next ball and lost the match. :(

...perhaps you should reconsider,no?

lol

Wow Chris ya think ? {Sarcasm) give her the 7 out and the breaks and then she might make it a game with you

I would play her even...but jeanette is a way tuffer game. Jeanette played (Monster) John even along with a slew of other games JB has no shot at winning. If Jeanette hit balls for a week she would be the 8 ball favorite JMO of course.
