How do you CHL holders carry comfortably while playing and keep from printing?

Interesting topic and I support the 2nd! With that said, I'm curious how all you CHL (concealed handgun license) carry comfortably and keep from printing (showing the outline of the handgun through clothing) while playing?

I have an IWB (inside the waistband) holster and it doesn't matter if it's placed at 4, 6 or 8 o'clock (right handed) or even cross carry at 10 o'clock, there is no way to wear it while playing pool without obvious printing and/or the holster & weapon quickly becoming very restrictive and/or uncomfortable at times.
The other option might be pocket carry, ankle carry or simply place it in the pool case. I don't like the idea of placing the weapon in the pool case (or anything that is not directly connected to my person), as that could grow legs while I'm not looking and now my weapon is out in the wild, not good!

So my question is for you who carry while playing, (if you care to share) tell us how you conceal carry while playing to maintain comfort, concealment and eliminate any movement restrictions?

The 1897 Winchester in the photo sure looks old but to my eye, doesn't quite look like a 1897 Winchester....it more resembles one from the late 1920's.
I have a copy of Winchester's serial number directory and that's how I was able to confirm the period of production for my rifle....not that it matters and
I am not alleging the rifle is definitely not from 1897 only that it doesn't quite look like that era piece to my eye.......Again, this is just my opinion.

I front pocket carry my .380 most times if I am going to be active. There is no way to holster and play that I can imagine without presenting your weapon.

I already checked it, Serial 105###

For comfort and concealment. The NAA mini revolvers are great. In 22 LR with "Stingers" it is hot enough to get one out of trouble. If a "double deuce" isn't big enough for you,a derringer in 38 spesh is an easy pocket carry.Or a small .380 for the pocket.

Here's What Winchester Has To Say.....

Your serial number coincides with Winchester's Manufacturing Dates and it is originally manufactured
between 1897 and 1898 according to their records....still looks a little different to my eye but serial
numbers are ironclad evidence.

I stand corrected, it may actually be a 1898. I looked it up a while back and I thought it was 97 but looks to be a year later. I used the same guide you have here. This gun is in excellent condition for it's age, hard to believe the year.

Boot holsters work. And the back pocket.

As does the cargo pocket on shorts that have them, but I highly suggest you spend some time getting used to retrieving it smoothly from there. Also, If and when I use that pocket, I only snap/button one of the two on that particular pocket, leaving one undone, for easier access.

I see you have the Bushnell AR/223 BDC. one of the few scopes i have for my AR alot of scope for the price range.

Yeah, it is a nice little rig. This is the only scoped AR I plan on doing. The other one I kept is gonna wear a red dot and is going for a custom spray job soon.

I have always liked semi automatic handguns. A semi auto is like a concealable assault rifle, tremendous rate of fire and reloadable in a few seconds.

I can see why people like revolvers though. They are trustworthy and foolproof.

One time I took 5 fat telephone books trying to trap a bullet from my 9 mm - can you believe it penetrated all five?

In the pocket the weight pulls your pants down also unless you have a waist a lot smaller than your ass or cinch your belt to corset tight . I havent found any way to carry that's practical for me and my OCD so unless i think I'm gonna be in a shaky area or walking around after midnight, I don't.

It doesn't sound macho, it's the reality...

That sounds macho but there are realities that many don't even consider. Suppose you just say to someone, "I have a gun" or even make the innuendo. They call the police your arrested charges get pressed. $25,000.000 in legal fees later you are out of it, was it worth it?

You may have lost your job as a result and after that your marriage breaks up from the stress of the money and all that has gone on. There is a thing called a "Cascade effect". One seeming meaningless act can change your life.

I am not telling you not to carry a gun, just there is real and serious liability involved every moment you do. Walking around with a gun is not nothing. My little scenario is not far fetched. In many states if you have a gun on the property of a post office it is a felony. Even if it is locked up. You need to know all this stuff.

As a preface, I make myself aware of the law any where that I intend to carry . I also live in one of, if not THE most imbridled state.

However, it isn't macho to state that, it's the reality.

Anyone who chooses not to carry puts their lives into the hands of other people, unless they are willing to defend themselves unarmed.

Whether that be putting their lives into the hands of police (good luck there) or into the hands of those who would threaten your life.

You say that sounds macho. If you consider doing what you have to in order to protect you and your loved ones macho, then please remove any negative connotations from that term (which is impossible).

The laws which you described (of which I know many) were described perfectly as they are....an infringement on our right to keep and bear arms...

Any place that it is a felony simply to have a firearm... that's a law that infringes on our right to keep and bear arms.

People have to stop being pussy whipped and demand that our government recognize our rights and stop trampling on them.

The people that irk me the most are the ones fighting to limit or restrict our ability to protect ourselves even more because THEY don't want guns out there. I'll tell you what, working honestly, get 2/3rds of both houses and 3/4ths of the people of the states to agree with you and you can do it legally. Without that you are just pussy hacks who like to have a false sense of security and are willing to sacrifice every one else out of your selfishness.
