It's a professional event. Money is involved. Therefore, decisions based upon monetary priorities often have to be made. There are alternatives of course. One real one is, no money for the Promoter, no Promoted Tournaments for the Professionals. That's simply the pragmatic nature of business. As a Promoter, Business Owner, Executive or whatever, you're doing NOBODY a favor long term by making decisions that cause your business endeavor to go bankrupt.
To all the people *****ing to high heaven about it, write your checks for $10,000 to $100,000 and promote your own tournament. Run it as you see fit. However, when it is YOUR money on the line, let's see what kind of decisions you make.
