I remember when this was announced, people were complaining about the original price of $40 for two days.
Well I would gladly pay that (and maybe a little more) to see Shane play this format against Ko Pin Yi or his brother, Ko Ping Chung.
Not saying Shane doesn't get there against him, but I just can't see him dominating either one of them like he has other players. It would be interesting to see what the lines would be for either match up.
Both of them and every player on the planet has a standing invitation to play Shane in the race to 100 format. No one is barred afaik.
All they have to do is make the arrangements. Shane has all the backing.
At this level races to 21 are now considered short races.
I think a lot of players get into give-up mode against Shane when he starts putting packages on them. Players that don't do that are more likely to be able to hang with Shane.
I once asked Rafael Martinez what went through his mind when someone was putting a package on him. He said he was only thinking of how many racks he would run when it was his turn.
