Sara Rousey

What has Sara been up to? Haven't heard anything in a while.

Melissa Morris, Sara, and the late Ginky each have subforums in the Ask the Pro area of this forum.

Last time Sara posted was June 2014. The other ones are also inactive. This might be a good time to insert some new pros, if they are willing. Justin Bergman recently made his first post on AzBilliards. Maybe a few of the other Mosconi Cup pros would be interested in having a section in the Ask the Pro subforum. It hasn't been very active in recent times, so it could use a little infusion of some new blood. :)

I don't think she's playing any pool. She's active on Facebook, so you can get more details there

Yeah, she's pretty active on Facebook & she commented recently that she's been out of pool for a while.

Thanks for being curious about what I've been up to. I haven't played much pool for the past three years. I played in the Super Billiard Expo small pro event and a couple of Predator Tour and Tri-State Tour events but other than that, I don't play at all. I opted for the real job, health insurance, stability route for now. I still love pool, but I needed a bit of a break. Who knows, maybe I'll get back out there!

Thanks again for asking!

Sarah

Jobs aren't real. Just thought that I'd make that distinction.

Nothing but the best for you Sarah, I watched you play Buddy Hall in 9 ball at DCC in 2010 or 2011, I cant remember who won, but what a do remember was you giving Buddy a dam close match, you way have beat him , I just cant remember.

Weather you beat Buddy or not, you got my respect as a pool player, you broke the balls awesome too!

That is right.

Babies are real. When do you/ yours bring a little one to our world?

It is what everyone needs: a little thing that couldn't care less about your wants and needs, yet you love it like you never knew you could love...

Did I sell it?

Thanks for the response. I've always been a fan and I don't do facebook. Good luck with your endeavors and hope to see you playing again soon.

Hey Ms Sarah,

I met with you this past year at the SBE in the Mezz Booth... I was letting Mika (and you) hit some balls with my "Special Cue" that had an Extension and a Ki-Tech tip. Btw The 'Cue' remains as colorful as it was then in it Colorful RED case . Glad to see you found a good way to reduce some of the stresses a 'pool players life' offers and hopefully stay on a healthy track as well.

I recently met Steve Klapp at one of new pool rooms (PressBox) as he lives here in Charlotte (and now plays American Rotation league with me) and I was showing how good my "Special Cue" could out play just about anything that he owned . After I got him settled down we started taking and come to find out he was there in the Mezz booth there at SBE as well watching/talking at the same time Mika was firing balls in with my Special Cue. After I mentioned your name he really softened up and we actually became good friends. He really spoke highly of you as well. Well anyway I hope life offer you things that keeps you active and happy. Great to see you pop in AZ from time to time. If you ever come down this way your more than welcome to look me up and we'll do pool and diner. Who knows maybe I'll have a chance to win now that you do get to play much.

Wishing you all the best,

Randy Hatten. DDS
