Pledges thus far to help Gene, the very nice elderly veteran whose cue was stolen, to get him a replacement cue:

kickin' chicken = $20
Tate = $50
ibuycues =$20
victorl = $20
texdance = $20

The goal is $540 (unless a nice used one is avail) which I am not even sure we can still buy a new one since it was stated these gb-2 models are discontinued.

Let's keep pledging though and we'll see how far we get. Prior to actually collecting any money I will make sure we have a cue available.

But we have a ways to go with current pledges totaling $1230, we are $410 short.

I would love to kick in 20 dollars or more to help out. I did read the whole thread but I didn't see the part where we could raise money for the cause. How might one do this?

I hope he accepts, please help convince him. It's not charity just trying to help ease the sting of losing a prized possession. 'Tis the season.

It would be so awesome if by the end of the day we could have a cue ordered for him and on the way to his house. I love seeing the AZB community coming together for a common selfless cause. This is what the season is all about and you guys did not disappoint. Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all the AZBers who don't celebrate Christmas.
