The King of One Pocket Tournament - $50,000 - February 24th-26th

You've all convinced me-I will not watch this event unless BOX is doing the commentary!!

I'll support you Lenny. Please put up a link for donations based on the stream, and I'll ship it.

While most all of us don't play at the $6k level, we would like tournaments we can enter and have some sort of a chance winning a match. What Lenny is doing is different and it's for the fans and the people like me who can't win matches against these guys, but love the game.

The things he does at Kolbys are more up the alley for a player like me, but we need to appreciate the shear work, and to some extent scrutiny that Lenny has to go through just putting this on.

This event is scheduled on top of the US Bar Table in Reno and there also may be a Manny P. event in the Philippines with a $200K prize fund. SVB indicated to me that he would probably go the the Philippines. I would assume that the Philippine players would also be there for that event.

OOPS! Sorry, the Bar Table is Feb 16-22, no conflict.
 
Is this still scheduled to go down? Any others besides the Freezer and Mr. 400 say they'll be there? Thanks
 
We currently only have 2 entries for this tournament. The tournament requires 8 players so it is currently not looking good. Interested players need to contact Gary at 909-856-1762 to get their deposits in so we can do this.

Box is a knowledgeable old time 1 Hole guy who understand today's game. He usually does the commentary at the Hard Times (Bellflower) monthly 1 Hole tournament. Like most commentators he has his loyalists as well as a few detractors. Personally I like him and generally learn from his commentary. Really enjoyable when he pairs up with Frank---The Barbr.

Box is a good guy. He treated me very fairly on one of theTAD cues
he is selling.

I second "adding Bobby Cotton". I seldom get a chance to watch pool online because of the time difference, but I enjoyed listening to Bobby on the occasions I have heard him. He was covering 9- or 10-ball at the times I was watching, but he knew what he was talking about and he threw in some stories and made it entertaining.

I enjoyed him for a change.

While I learn more from Billy, I appreciate all that commentate.

IMO, it takes some "balls", to put yourself out there to be critizised by folks.

So I offer my thanks to all of them. I do appreciate it.
