Scratch on the lag

Methinks that table leans a touch.
Don't think that's a cue ball issue!!

Not convinced it is entirely a question of the table being level. On the lag the CB went right immediately upon coming off the rail which makes me doubt it's the balls. It did look as though it was curving toward the hole on the way back up table though. Can't say that it was a bad rail or she put some unintentional side on the CB. Are there any other obvious examples of bad rolls during the match?

The fact that BOTH balls rolled off by the exact same amount - nearly a full diamond, in the same direction, on lag speed shots, by players of the highest caliber is pretty convincing...IMO.

I watched some of that tourney, the tables were laughably off. Not sure why they couldn't pop in there and fix them, but there you have it. My friends and I like to call them "draino corners" when you find a table like that (usually in a bar)

Thanks for pointing that out. I was so focused on the scratch I confess the path of the other ball never even caught my attention. :embarrassed2::thumbup:

I actually played on tables that would roll off two or three diamonds on a lag!

The tables were used for "beer pong" once a week, and were rarely leveled.
 
If you watch the rest of the match it looks like it's the balls that are doing this.
 
Instead of scratching, what happens if the cb stops in the jaws of the pocket, beyond the end rail?
