Mike, Jerry or Dave...Thank you, for the very brief respite, however, I feel it may be only a result, of a guilty conscience(s), as I may hold the record for, if not the most often banned, possibly the most 'unfairly' banned poster, in AZB's colorful history of "abusive poster's" I believe that was the phrase coined for my last time-out !
...That is an absolute joke !..There are several dozen 'regular' responder's MUCH more abusive, and abrasive, still flailing away daily, 'unscathed' ! (I could pull up dozens, in just the past week) At least I try to inject some 'tongue in cheek' humor in my offerings.
I have no idea where Lou Figuruoa rates, on your often very narrow spectrum..of good/bad/bannable poster's...But I do know he is capable of putting some very well thought out, (and highly relevant) opinions on the table, as he has done on here for many years...I have taken the liberty of emboldening some of his more salient points of view, in one of his most recent posts ! (adding a few of my own, in red)
If you choose not to even read, (and/or absorb) his VERY astute observations, then I feel you are hiding your head(s) in the sands...It is obvious I am NOT alone in those thoughts !... If this makes me 'persona non grata' AGAIN..so be it.. I have already too often, been made to feel like I live in "North Korea", when it comes to freedom of expression, without dire repercussions !

For many of us it's all about the forums, staying current on what's going on, parlaying with others, kvetching about the issue du jour, making friends (and the occasional enemy), and smoozing with other pool players. It's a cyber-cocktail party everyday. I doubt many even visit much of the rest of the site.<--I agree Lou, Its hard to get excited over the latest "layered cuetip" or the newest "chalk"..not to mention the daily "What kind of wrap do you like" posts ! :boring2: :boring2: :boring2:
So as important as what you and the rest of "the team" may be, don't forget that the participants here are an integral part of all that, and they deserve to be treated with a modicum of respect from the management and not the disdain I occasionally see reflected in what is said and done here. <--"Disdain" is a very polite description Lou,...How about "ridicule" ?

Also, while I'm on a roll.. let me clear the air in response to another subject.. my 'drinking problem", as is often brought up by Hawiian Eye, Mr. Wilson, and a few others, to try and paint me as an 'alcoholic' !...If you would care to check with any of my close 'local' friends, (Lenny, Frost, etc.) you would find that I gave up drinking more than a few sociable drinks, (on rare occasions) about 30 years ago.!...
I admit, I used to cultivate that personna, and have for years...I liked to call it, my "Dean Martin" act, who (truth be known) also RARELY ever drank, and only used it, as I did, to promote a fun-loving, 'out of control' image...It was kind of a way to make better games ! (who doesn't like to play 'drunks' ?)...Since I don't play anymore, I no longer need it...But, keep impressing me with how well you know my personal life habits !
I would greatly appreciate, the courtesy of an acknowledgement regarding my insight, (even a negative one)..from at least one of you !
