Like I said, I'm not looking to discuss or 'argue' with blind fanatics. I've made the point & trust in the general readership's ability to make their own determinations.
Best Wishes to ALL.
Easy but wrong. "Perceptions that can be learned and repeated" describes every way of aiming - including pure feel.See how easy it is to say it's objective when phrased this way: "perceptions that can be learned and repeated."?

Surprised you still don't get this after all these years.
pj <- at least I used to be surprised

Means something to you but not to others - that's the definition of subjective.

S What happens if one heel of your shoe is worn down lower than the other and it throws the balance of the eye line off?)
Two objective perceptions can make every shot on the table AND with no real pivot.
Chew on that one...
Stan Shuffett
So this includes caroms, combos, rail first shots, multi rail banks, safeties.
If you really believe that only two objective perceptions can make all shots including the ones I stated above......its truely sad.
Prove your statement......and just saying so ain't proof.
How can just two shots pictures make every possible shot there is in pool?
Unreal.....
Hi duckie... This may sound unreal to you, but only 2 known objective views are all that's nessesary for any shot that you've mentioned above.
It's not possible, to always aim exactly, at these two sight pictures and pocket balls. Both these objective views are used for exact references.

Concerning my previous comment: Two perceptions are all that is needed for pocketing an OB somewhere for most any CB OB relation. The objective perceptions are NOT used in any way as a reference that is adjusted away from.......
The two perceptions result in properly fixing the cue ball.......for whatever shot.

OK... I think we both agree in properly fixing the cue ball........for whatever shot.
I think we both agree that CTE works. I don't think we both agree how we do it.
That being said, whatever works best for any individual is by all means the way
that person should play. Maybe we don't agree on that either. If I had problems
pocketing balls I'd definitely try sweeping into the ball. I don't have any problem.

If one can aim the edge of the CB like left edge of the CB to the left edge of the OB and shoot center CB parallel to that line, he would make a straight in shot.
If one can aim the edge of the CB like left edge of the CB to the center of the OB and shoot center CB parallel to that line, he would make a 30 degree cut shot or a bit less due to CIT.
If one can aim the left edge of the CB at the right edge of the OB it follows that he would make a 90 degree cut.
So all of the cut angles can be derived by aiming the edge of the CB at memorized facets using HAMB across the face of the OB from edge to edge.
But, we all know that.
Be well.

You may know this, but you can do the same thing for cuts over 30 degrees by measuring with the CB/OB edges instead of their centers.I do this on almost every shot less than 30 degrees. ... (Double the distance aiming)

Here's a pic I've posted before showing that.
