Yeah, that was just brutal. He played so strong to come back from 3-1 and was just looking good. He played some damn fine pool these past few days!

The cue hit the second rail and then basically just came straight across. Brutal

And that's WITH the slide.
So sick.
I hit that shot all the time.
Brunswicks I can spin it in and get a HUGE angle.
Can get to the bottom rail sometimes with ease.
Diamonds, I am worried I'm gonna rocket straight into the side pocket.

He did great with what he had.
Sucks the 9 just happened to be on that line.

that was the worst roll EVER!!!!

(and JB position on the 7 wasnt that bad)

I assume you're being sarcastic. He had bad position on the 7, and that wasn't a bad roll yo get stuck behind the 9. You've gotta feel for him, but it wasn't bad luck.

Play the same shot 10 times you would have the CB come toward the 9 10 times. He could have know that the CB would track toward the 9.

Bad luck but also nerves kicked in and cloud his judgement. He could have not trying to draw back but go back and forth to put a CB in the center of the table, took the 9 out of the equation.

No excuse after 4 days...he should have been much more full on that ball. He hit the 6 bad which is what put him so thin in the first place.

Nah. He hit it good.
They are still putting that crap ball polish and table cleaner on everything making everything slide wrong.
Even N.F. just said everything is sliding.

For the love of god, don't let Boyes win and have to watch him celebrate. Anyone else but him.

I wonder if he was playing it similar to that. He actually hit the ball way too full. If he had hit it thinner, the CB would have stayed on the other side of the 9, closer to the center of the table (but not the exact shot you described).
