Yes, Jay said time ran out when Alex was down on the shot and that Jay called "extension" after Alex shot. Alex swore that did not happen and he was walking around the table describing the shots. I was not paying attention at that moment so I don't know but I assume Jay is right and Alex was just in the zone and missed it.

When Alex was breaking at 10-10 he offered to bet Jay $50 about it. Jay countered with $100 and Alex said "Well... keep it $50. I'm broke!"
 
Not sure, I think Alex was right. I don't remember him taking a time extension. He made the one ball and got half hooked for the 2, He went and got his break stick and massed and hit the 2.
 
I remember watching Alex shoot thinking that he went over time..I wonder if Jay is talking about that shot and just simply gave Alex the extension without Alex having to signal or ask etc..

After the match Alex said make it $100. He was sure. When he got hooked he wasted no time and massed.
